Chapter 5 · Verse 469
वृषा पवस्व धारया मरुत्वते च मत्सर्ः. विश्वा दधान ओजसा
O lord of absolute abundance and creativity, sustainer of all worlds of existence by absolute power and grandeur, you are all bliss for the people of vibrancy, action and gratitude. Pray bring us showers of peace, purity and power for the good life.
हे परम ऐश्वर्य और सृजन के स्वामी, अपनी पूर्ण शक्ति और महिमा से समस्त लोकों का पोषण करने वाले, आप ही क्रियाशील, कृतज्ञ और जीवंत लोगों के लिए परम आनंद हैं। कृपया हमें उत्तम जीवन के लिए शांति, पवित्रता और शक्ति की वर्षा प्रदान करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 470
यस्ते मदो वरेण्यस्तेना पवस्वान्धसा. देवावीर् अघसंसहा
Devåv∂r aghasa≈sahå. The soma ecstasy that's yours, that is the highest love of our choice. Flow on, radiate, and sanctify us beyond satiation with light divine for the soul, protector and saviour as you are of the holy and destroyer of sin and evil for the good.
हे सोम! तुम्हारा वह मद (आनंद) जो श्रेष्ठतम है, हमारी चुनी हुई परम प्रीति है। हे रक्षक और उद्धारक! तुम पवित्रता के रक्षक और पाप-विनाशक हो, इसलिए अपनी दिव्य ज्योति से हमें तृप्त करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 471
तिस्रो वाच उदीरते गावो मिमन्ति धेनवः. हरिरेति कनिक्रदत्
Harireti kanikradat. Three Vedic voices of knowledge, action and prayer, loud and bold, enlighten, and inspire to goodness, organs of perception and volition, urge to good action, as earth and milch cows are profuse in fertility, and the lord of bliss, destroyer of suffering, manifests bright and blissful as life goes on in a state of prosperity.
तीन वाणी (ज्ञान, कर्म, भक्ति) उद्घोष करती हैं, जैसे गौएँ रंभाती हैं, जो कल्याणकारी प्रभु के प्रकट होने का संकेत देती हैं। ये वाणी इंद्रियों और कर्मों को प्रेरित करती हैं, जिससे जीवन समृद्धि और आनंद से परिपूर्ण होता है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 472
इन्द्रायेन्दो मरुत्वते पवस्व मधु- मत्तमः. अर्कस्य योनिम् आसदम्
O Soma, enlightened joy of spiritual purity and bliss, flow into the consciousness of the vibrant soul of the devotee as an offering to Indra, lord of universal power and joy who abides at the heart of universal truth and yajnic law of existence.
हे सोम, हे इन्द्र के आनंदमय स्वरूप, हे भक्त की चैतन्य आत्मा के लिए मधुरतम रस बनकर प्रवाहित हो, जो सत्य और यज्ञ के हृदय में स्थित हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 473
असाव्यँन्सुर् मदायाप्सु दक्षो गिरिष्ंहाः. ›येनो न योनिम् आसदत्
The peace and pleasure of life's ecstasy in thought and action, and the expertise well founded on adamantine determination is created by Savita, the creator, like the flying ambition of the soul and it is settled in its seat at the heart's core in the personality.
हे सविता देव! आपकी कृपा से जीवन के आनंद और उत्साह की पराकाष्ठा, तथा दृढ़ संकल्प पर आधारित निपुणता आत्मा की उड़ान के समान उत्पन्न होती है और हृदय के केंद्र में स्थापित हो जाती है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 474
पवस्व दक्षसाधनो देवेभ्यः पीतये हरे. मरुद्भ्यो वायवे मदः
Marudbhyo våyave mada¨. O Soma, lord of joy and versatile intelligence of the universe, pure, fluent and all-purifying eliminator of want and suffering, giver of sufficiency, flow, purify and sanctify the powers of noble and generous nature to their full satisfaction, come as ecstasy of life for vibrant humanity, for pranic energy and for the will and intelligence of the seekers of light and dynamism for action.
हे सोम, हे देवों के स्वामी, हे सामर्थ्य प्रदान करने वाले, हे आनंद के स्रोत, आप पवित्र होकर बहें और सभी को तृप्त करें। आप जीवन की ऊर्जा और ज्ञान के लिए प्रेरणा बनकर प्रवाहित हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 475
परि स्वानो गिरिष्ंहाः पवित्रे सोमो अक्षरत्. मदेषु सर्वधा असि
Made¶u sarvadhå asi. O lord, you are Soma, peace, power and bliss, all creative, fertilising and inspiring, all present in thunder of the clouds, roar of the winds and rumble of the mountains, in purest of the pure. You are the sole sustainer of all in bliss divine.
हे प्रभु, आप ही सोम हैं, जो शांति, शक्ति और आनंद के स्रोत हैं, सभी सृजन, पोषण और प्रेरणा के आधार हैं। आप ही मेघों की गर्जना, वायु के झोंकों और पर्वतों की गड़गड़ाहट में, परम पवित्रता में सर्वत्र विद्यमान हैं। आप ही दिव्य आनंद में सभी के एकमात्र आधार हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 476
परि प्रिया दिवः कविर् वयाँन्सि नप्त्योर् हितः. स्वानैर् याति कविक्रतुः
Svånair yåti kavikratu¨. Soma, cosmic soul, darling of the heavens and loved of enlightened people, poetic creator, immanent in his own creations, pervading all regions of the universe, moves around omnipresent, inspiring, creating and doing all those acts which are exclusively worthy of the omniscient and omnipotent creator.
हे सोम, जो स्वर्ग के प्रिय और ज्ञानीजनों के द्वारा सेवित हैं, वे सर्वव्यापी कवि अपनी रचनाओं में स्थित होकर, सर्वज्ञ और सर्वशक्तिमान निर्माता के योग्य कर्म करते हुए, सर्वत्र विचरण करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 477
प्र सोमासो मदच्युतः श्रवसे नो मघो- नाम्. सुता विदथे अक्रमुः
May the streams of soma, nectar sweet and exhilarating, distilled and sanctified in yajna, flow for the safety, security and fame of our leading lights of honour, power and excellence.
हे सोम! हे अमृतमय, मद से युक्त! यज्ञ में सिद्ध हुए आप हमारे महान् नेताओं की रक्षा, यश और समृद्धि के लिए प्रवाहित हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 478
प्र सोमासो विपश्चितोइ᳓पो नयन्त ञुर्मयः. वनानि महिषा इव
Vanåni mahi¶å iva. Just as waves of water rise to the moon and great men strive for things of beauty and goodness, so do inspired learned sages, lovers of dynamic peace and goodness, move forward to realise the supreme power and Spirit of the Vedic hymns.
जैसे जल की लहरें चंद्रमा की ओर उठती हैं और महान पुरुष सौंदर्य व अच्छाई की ओर बढ़ते हैं, वैसे ही प्रेरित विद्वान ऋषि, गतिशील शांति और अच्छाई के प्रेमी, वैदिक मंत्रों की परम शक्ति और आत्मा को प्राप्त करने के लिए आगे बढ़ते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 479
पवस्वेन्दो वृषा सुतः कृधी नो यशसो जने. विश्वा अप द्विषो जहि
Vi‹vå apa dvi¶o jahi. Soma, lord of purity and generosity, light and splendour, served and realised through yajnic life, protect and purify us, help us join the community of honour and excellence, ward off and eliminate all malignity, jealousy and enmity from our life.
हे सोम देव, जो पवित्रता और उदारता के स्वामी हैं, यज्ञमय जीवन से प्राप्त और अनुभव किए जाने वाले प्रकाश और तेज से युक्त हैं, हमारी रक्षा करें और हमें शुद्ध करें, हमें यश और उत्कृष्टता के समुदाय में शामिल होने में सहायता करें, और हमारे जीवन से सभी द्वेष, ईर्ष्या और शत्रुता को दूर करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 480
वृषा ह्यसि भानुना द्युमन्तं त्वा हवामहे. पवमान स्वर्दृशम्
O lord of purity, purifier and sanctifier of heart and soul, you are supremely generous and refulgent by your own light and glory. We, celebrants by our holiest thoughts and words, invoke and adore you for the light and wisdom of your divine glory and generosity.
हे पवित्रता के स्वामी, हृदय और आत्मा के शुद्धिकर्ता, आप अपनी स्वयं की ज्योति और महिमा से अत्यंत उदार और तेजस्वी हैं। हम, अपने पवित्र विचारों और शब्दों से, आपकी दिव्य महिमा और उदारता के प्रकाश और ज्ञान के लिए आपका आवाहन और पूजन करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 481
इन्दुः पविष्ंअ चेतनः प्रियः कवीनां मतिः. ›ऋजद् अश्वं रथीरिव
Soma, lord of bliss, is self-refulgent and holy, purest and most purifying, omniscient, dearest love of the poets and celebrants, and wisest of the wise. Creating the dynamic world of matter, energy and mind, he abides like the master of the universal chariot.
हे सोम देव, आप परम पवित्र, ज्ञानमय और कवियों के प्रिय हैं, जो समस्त लोकों को रथ की भांति संचालित करते हैं। आप ही चेतना के स्रोत हैं और सृष्टि के आधार हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 482
असृक्षत प्र वाजिनो गव्या सोमासो अश्वया. ›उक्रासो वीरयाशवः
Vibrant heroes blest with the soma spirit of peace, progress and brilliance, pure and potent, inspired with ambition for lands, cows and culture, horses, advancement and achievement, and advancement of the brave generations of humanity move forward with the spirit of generous creativity.
हे वीर पुरुषो, तुम सोम रस के दिव्य गुणों से युक्त होकर, भूमि, गौधन, अश्व और यश की अभिलाषा से प्रेरित होकर, मानवता की उन्नत पीढ़ियों के लिए उदार रचनात्मकता की भावना से आगे बढ़ो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 483
पवस्व देव आयुषग् इन्द्रं गच्छतु ते मदः. वायुमा रोह धर्मणा
O Soma, self-refulgent and self-joyous lord of peace and bliss, let your presence vibrate and purify us. Let your ecstatic bliss reach Indra, the ruler, for the glory of mankind. May you with your divine power and presence emerge and rise in the heart of vibrant devotees.
हे सोम देव, अपनी दिव्य शक्ति और आनंद से हमें पवित्र करें, जिससे आपका उल्लास इंद्र तक पहुंचे और मानव जाति का कल्याण हो। अपनी दिव्य उपस्थिति से, आप भक्तों के हृदय में जागृत हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 484
पवमानो अजीजनद् दिवश्चित्रं न तन्यतुम्. ज्योतिर् वैश्वानरं बृहत्
Jyotir vai‹vånara≈ bæhat. Let Soma, progressive, active and zealous power dedicated to humanity and divinity, create the light and culture of universal expansive order from the light of heaven, sublime, awful and beautiful as the light and resounding roar of thunder and lightning.
हे सोम देव, जो मानवजाति और दिव्यता के प्रति समर्पित, प्रगतिशील, सक्रिय और उत्साही शक्ति हैं, वे स्वर्ग के प्रकाश से, जो गर्जन और बिजली की तरह भव्य, विस्मयकारी और सुंदर है, सार्वभौमिक विस्तृत व्यवस्था के प्रकाश और संस्कृति का सृजन करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 485
परि स्वानास इन्दवो मदाय बर्हणा गिरा. मधो अर्षन्ति धारया
Madho ar¶anti dhårayå. Honey streams of soma distilled and consecrated by the hallowed voice of the Veda flow round for the joy of mankind.
हे इन्द्र देव! पवित्र वेदवाणी द्वारा परिष्कृत सोम की मधुर धाराएँ, मनुष्यों के आनंद के लिए चारों ओर प्रवाहित हो रही हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 486
परि प्रासिष्यदत् कविः सिन्धोर्ञुर्मावधि श्रितः. कारुं बिभ्रत् पुरुस्पृहम्
Pervading and reposing in transcendence over the dynamics of this expansive ocean of the universe, bearing and sustaining this poetic creation, the omniscient poet creator, Soma, lord of peace, joy and bliss, rolls and rules the world with pleasure and grace.
यह मंत्र उस सर्वज्ञ, आनंदमय सोम को नमन करता है जो ब्रह्मांडीय महासागर की लहरों के बीच स्थित होकर, काव्य की रचना का भरण-पोषण करते हुए, प्रसन्नता और कृपा से संसार का संचालन करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 487
उपो षु जातम् अप्तुरं गोभिर् भΔगं परिष्कृतम्. इन्दुं देवा अयासिषुः
Soma, spirit of beauty, grace and glory, divinely created, nobly born, zealous, destroyer of negativity, beatified and celebrated in songs of divine voice, the noblest powers of nature and humanity adore, share and enjoy.
हे सोमदेव, आप दिव्य रूप से उत्पन्न, सौंदर्य और ऐश्वर्य से परिपूर्ण हैं। देवगण आपकी आराधना करते हैं और आपके अमृत का पान करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 488
पुनानो अक्रमीद् अभि विश्वा मृधो विचर्षणिः. ›उम्भन्ति विप्रं धीतिभिः
Soma, spirit of universal purity and purification, all watching, faces and overcomes all adversaries of the carnal world. Sages celebrate and glorify the vibrant all prevailing spirit with songs of adoration.
हे सोम, सर्वव्यापी शुद्धता और शुद्धि के देव, आप सर्वज्ञ होकर समस्त भौतिक बाधाओं का सामना करते हैं और उन्हें पार करते हैं। ज्ञानीजन अपनी भक्ति और स्तुति गानों से इस तेजस्वी, सर्वव्यापी आत्मा का उत्सव मनाते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 489
Åविशन् कलशं सुतो विश्वा अर्षन्नभि श्रियः. इन्दुर् इन्द्राय धीयते
Indur indråya dh∂yate. Taking over his positions of office, the conscrated leader, pioneer and brilliant ruler presides over lands and affairs of the order moving forward and winning all wealth, honours, excellence and graces of the world for the people, exhorted and exalted by them.
हे इन्द्रदेव! आप ही जगत् के रक्षक और मार्गदर्शक हैं, जो अपनी महिमा से समस्त ऐश्वर्य, सम्मान और सिद्धियों को प्राप्त करते हुए प्रजा का कल्याण करते हैं। आप ही समस्त विश्व के शासक हैं, जो अपने पद की गरिमा से सबको प्रेरित और उन्नत करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 490
असर्जि रथ्यो यथा पवित्रे चम्वोः सुतः. कार्ष्मन् वाजी न्यक्रमीत्
Kår¶man våj∂ nyakram∂t. Just as a passionate champion warrior shoots to the goal straight, so does Soma, potent spirit of peace, purity and glory, invoked and celebrated with devotion in the purity of heart and soul, descends to the centre core of the heart without delay.
जैसे पवित्र पात्र में सोम रस को शुद्ध किया जाता है, वैसे ही भक्ति और पवित्र हृदय से आह्वान किया गया सोम, शांति, पवित्रता और महिमा का शक्तिशाली भाव, बिना विलंब के हृदय के केंद्र में उतर आता है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 491
प्र यद् गावो न भ्ञुर्णयस् त्वेषा अयासो अक्रमुः. घ्नन्तः कृष्णाम् अप त्वचम्
We adore the ceaseless radiations of divinity which, like restless rays of the sun, blazing with lustrous glory, move and shower on the earth and dispel the dark cover of the night.
हम उन अनवरत दिव्य किरणों की स्तुति करते हैं जो सूर्य की चंचल किरणों के समान, तेजस्वी महिमा से प्रज्वलित होकर, पृथ्वी पर विचरण करती हैं और रात्रि के अंधकार को दूर करती हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 492
अपघ्नन् पवसे मृधः क्रतुवित् सोम मत्सरः. नुदस्वादेवयुम् जनम्
O Soma, lord of absolute peace, purity, power and holiness of action, omnipotent and blissful, you vibrate in existence destroying sin and evil. Pray impel the impious people to truth, piety and creative generosity, or punish and eliminate them like hurdles in the creative paths of piety and rectitude.
हे सोमदेव, परम शांति, पवित्रता और कर्म की शक्ति से युक्त, आनंदमय आप पाप और बुराई का नाश करते हुए अस्तित्व में स्पंदित होते हैं। हे देव, उन अधार्मिक जनों को सत्य, धर्म और उदारता की ओर प्रेरित करें, या उन्हें धर्म और सदाचार के रचनात्मक मार्ग में बाधाओं के समान दंडित कर विलुप्त कर दें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 493
अया पवस्व धारया यया स्ञुर्यम् अरोचयः. हिन्वानो मानुषीर् अपः
Hinvåno månu¶∂r apa¨. Lord of the universe, by the energy with which you give light to the sun, by the same light and energy inspire the will and actions of humanity and purify us.
हे ब्रह्मांड के स्वामी, जिस ऊर्जा से आप सूर्य को प्रकाशित करते हैं, उसी ऊर्जा से मनुष्यों की इच्छाओं और कर्मों को प्रेरित करें और हमें पवित्र करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 494
स पवस्व य आविथेन्द्रं वृत्राय हन्तवे. वव्रिवाँन्सं महीर् अपः
Vavrivå~nsa≈ mah∂r apa¨. Lord of the joy of existence, for constant conversion, elimination and destruction of negativity you protect and promote the creative, structural and developmental forces of nature in great evolutionary dynamics on way to positive growth and progress.
हे इन्द्र देव, आप आनंद के स्वामी हैं, जो निरंतर नकारात्मकता के नाश और विनाश के लिए हमें पवित्र करते हैं, और प्रकृति की रचनात्मक शक्तियों की रक्षा करते हुए हमें सकारात्मक विकास की ओर ले जाते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 495
अया वीती परि स्रव यस् त इन्दो मदेष्वा. अवाहन् नवतीर् नव
Avåhan navat∂r nava. O Soma, joyous ruler and protector of life, let this creative peace, presence, power and policy of yours prevail and advance, promoting those who join the happy advance, and repelling, dispelling, even destroying ninety-and-nine strongholds of darkness which obstruct the progress.
हे सोम, जीवन के आनंदमय शासक और रक्षक, आपकी यह सृजनात्मक शांति, उपस्थिति, शक्ति और नीति व्याप्त हो और आगे बढ़े, जो आनंदमय प्रगति में सम्मिलित होते हैं, उनका पोषण करे और अंधकार के निन्यानवे गढ़ों को दूर करे, जो प्रगति में बाधा डालते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 496
परि द्युक्षं सनद् रयिं भरद्वाजं नो अन्धसा. स्वानो अर्ष पवित्र आ
Light of the light of heaven, treasure-hold of world's wealth, with wealth, food and energy for body, mind and soul arise and manifest in the pure heart, inspiring it to a state of peace and benediction.
हे प्रकाश के प्रकाश, हे जगत् की सम्पदा के भण्डार, अपने ऐश्वर्य, अन्न और ऊर्जा से हमारे हृदय में प्रकट हों, उसे पवित्र कर शांति और आशीर्वाद से भर दें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 497
अचिक्रदद् वृषा हरिर् महान् मित्रो न दर्शतः. सं स्ञुर्येण दिद्युते
Sa≈ sμuryeƒa didyute. Soma, Spirit of universal peace and bliss, is generous and virile, destroyer of suffering, great, noble guide as a friend, and proclaims his presence everywhere as he shines glorious with the sun.
हे सोम! तुम महान मित्र के समान कल्याणकारी हो, जो सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी होकर सर्वत्र अपनी उपस्थिति की घोषणा करते हो और सभी दुखों का नाश करते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 498
Å ते दक्षं मयोभुवं वह्निमद्या वृणीमहे. पान्तम् आ पुरु स्पृहम्
Today here and now, we choose for ourselves and pray for your power, peace and bliss, light and fire which is universally loved, all protective, promotive and all sanctifying.
हे भगवन, आज हम आपकी उस शक्ति, शांति और आनंद की कामना करते हैं, जो सर्वव्यापी, सर्व रक्षक, सर्व पोषक और सर्व पवित्र है, और जिसे सभी प्रेम करते हैं। हम उस दिव्य प्रकाश और अग्नि को अपने हृदय में धारण करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 499
अध्वर्यो अद्रिभिः सुतं सोमं पवित्र आ नय. पुनाहीन्द्राय पातवे
O high priest of soma yajna, create the awareness of Soma, spirit of purity and divinity collected and concentrated by the senses and mind in the heart, and sanctify and intensify it there for exhilaration of the soul.
हे अध्वर्यु, इन्द्रियों और मन द्वारा हृदय में एकत्रित और केंद्रित सोम रस (दिव्य चेतना) को पवित्रता से प्राप्त करो और आत्मा के उल्लास के लिए उसे वहाँ शुद्ध और तीव्र करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 500
तरत् स मन्दी धावति धारा सुतस्यान्धसः. तरत् स मन्दी धावति
Tarat sa mand∂ dhåvati. Soma, Spirit of peace, beauty and bliss, saving, rejoicing, fulfilling, flows on. The stream of delight exhilarating for body, mind and soul flows on full of bliss. Crossing over the hurdles of life, delighted all over, the celebrant goes on.
वह आनंदमय सोम रस, जो आत्मा को शांति, सौंदर्य और परमानंद से भर देता है, जीवन की बाधाओं को पार करते हुए, सभी को आनंदित करता हुआ, निरंतर प्रवाहित होता रहता है। यह दिव्य धारा शरीर, मन और आत्मा को उल्लास से भर देती है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 501
Å पवस्व सहस्रिणं रयिं सोम सुवीर्यम्. अस्मे श्रवाँन्सि धारय
Soma, ruling power of creative wealth, joy and fluent energy, let a thousandfold wealth of virility, courage and creativity, pure and purifying, flow to us and vest us with food, energy, fame and excellence of life.
हे सोम, हे ऐश्वर्य और आनंद के दाता, हमें शक्ति, साहस और रचनात्मकता का हजार गुना धन प्रदान करें, जो शुद्ध और पवित्र करने वाला हो, और हमें अन्न, ऊर्जा, यश और जीवन की उत्कृष्टता से युक्त करे।
Chapter 5 · Verse 502
अनु प्रत्नास आयवः पदं नवीयो अक्रमुः. रुचे जनन्त स्ञुर्यम्
Ruce jananta sμuryam. In consequence of the will divine, the eternal existence in evolution, and for the sake of light they create the light of stars.
दिव्य इच्छा के फलस्वरूप, विकास में शाश्वत अस्तित्व के लिए और प्रकाश की खातिर, वे तारों का प्रकाश रचते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 503
अर्षा सोम द्युमत्तमोइ᳓भि द्रोणानि रोरुवत्. सिदन् योनौ वनेष्वा
Sidan yonau vane¶vå. Soma, spirit of divine power and peace of purity, most potent and most refulgent, come roaring at the speed and force of thunder and abide in the flames of yajna and heart of the faithful and purify and sanctify the soul.
हे सोमदेव, दिव्य शक्ति और पवित्रता के शांति स्वरूप, अत्यंत सामर्थ्यवान और प्रकाशमान, गर्जना करते हुए यज्ञ की ज्वालाओं में और भक्तों के हृदय में निवास करें, आत्मा को पवित्र और पावन करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 505
इषे पवस्व धारया मृज्यमानो मनीषिभिः. इन्दो रुचाभि गा इहि
Indo rucåbhi gå ihi. Shower in streams of purity and power and bless us with food, energy and fulfilment, adored and exalted as you are by sages, scholars and thoughtful devotees. O lord of bliss and beauty, come and, with the light and joy of your presence, sanctify our senses and mind, vision and intelligence.

O Soma, divine spirit of peace and beatitude, you are the generous power divine, lover of divinities, pervasive in stars and planets in space. You are for us too, pray flow in exciting streams of joy and bless us with peace and purity.

This Soma, lordly Spirit of peace and joy, feels great by this yajnic act of homage and, happy and exalted, loves to advance and exalt the celebrants.
हे सोम देव, यज्ञ के इस कर्म से आप महानता को प्राप्त होते हैं और आनंदित होकर हमें भी उन्नत करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 508
अयं विचर्षणिर् हितः पवमानः स चेतति. हिन्वान आप्यं बृहत्
Hinvåna åpya≈ bæhat. This Soma, divine spirit of action, honour and joy, is all watching, all beneficent, all inspiring, moving and dynamic, ever wakeful, setting in motion the flow on for attainment of vast achievable success and fulfilment.

O Soma, vibrant and fast, bearing waves of light and energy of divinity, you radiate to the noble and brilliant divine souls for our great advancement and achievement all round in life.
हे सोम देव, हे प्रकाश और ऊर्जा के महासागर, आप दिव्य आत्माओं को प्रकाशित करते हैं, जिससे हमारा जीवन सर्वत्र उन्नत और सफल हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 510
अपघ्नन् पवते मृधोइ᳓प सोमो अराव्णः. गच्छन्न् इन्द्रस्य निष्कृतम्
Gacchann indrasya ni¶kætam . Destroying the destroyers, eliminating the selfish, ungenerous hoarders and parasites, Soma, divine creativity in nature and humanity attains to its yajnic end and aim in the existential order created by omnipotent Indra.
हे इन्द्र! जो विघ्नों को दूर करते हैं, वे ही सोम (दिव्य चेतना) को प्राप्त करते हैं। यह सोम, प्रकृति और मानवता में दिव्य सृजनशीलता को धारण करते हुए, सर्वशक्तिमान इन्द्र द्वारा निर्मित अस्तित्व के क्रम में अपने यज्ञीय लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करता है।

पुनानः सोम धारयापो वसानो अर्षसि. Å रत्नधा योनिम् ऋतस्य सीदस्युत्सो देवो हिरण्ययः
Å ratnadhå yonim ætasya s∂dasyutso devo hiraƒyaya¨. O Soma, pure and purifying our thought, will and actions, abiding in the heart, you move and flow on in our consciousness. Bearing treasures of jewels, pray come and sit on the seat of yajna vedi and our sense of truth and eternal law. Indeed, O lord refulgent, you are the fountain head of life's golden treasures.

Dadhanvå~n yo naryo apsvå3ntarå su¶åva somam adribhi¨. From here onward sprinkle Soma with love and service, Soma, the spirit of beauty, peace and joy of life, Soma, realised with best of thoughts, effort and determined discipline of meditation, Soma which bears the best materials for creative yajna of personal and social development, Soma which is the leading light of life, realised within in the heart and our Karmas performed in life.
हे सोम! तुम उत्तम हवि हो, जो जल में स्थित है और जिसे हम प्रेम तथा सेवा से प्राप्त करते हैं। तुम जीवन की सुंदरता, शांति और आनंद के सार हो, जिसे सर्वोत्तम विचारों, प्रयासों और ध्यान की दृढ़ता से अनुभव किया जाता है।

Å सोम स्वानो अद्रिभिस्तिरो वाराण्यव्यया. जनो न पुरि चम्वोर् विशद्धरिः सदो वनेषु दध्रिषे
O Soma, spirit of universal bliss and protection, invoked and stirred by acts of meditation, radiating across the covers of darkness, enter the heart core of the soul as citizens enter their home in town, arise in the depth of heart and intelligence and abide there in the love and faith of the soul, your own cherished seat of existence among the wise.
हे सोम, ध्यान और कर्मों से जागृत होकर, अंधकार के आवरणों को भेदकर, हे आनंदमय रक्षक, तुम आत्मा के हृदय में ऐसे निवास करो जैसे नागरिक अपने घर में करते हैं, बुद्धि और हृदय की गहराई में जागृत होकर, आत्मा के प्रेम और विश्वास में अपने प्रिय आसन पर विराजमान हो जाओ।

A~n‹o¨ payaså madiro na jågævir acchå ko‹am madhu‹cutam. O Soma, be full with the liquid spirit of joy like the sea which is full with the flood of streams and rivers, and, like the very spirit of ecstasy overflowing with delicious exuberance of light divine, ever awake, flow into the devotee's heart blest with the honeyed joy of divinity.
हे सोम, नदियों के प्रवाह से परिपूर्ण समुद्र की भांति, आनंद के दिव्य रस से भरकर, भक्त के हृदय में मधुरता से प्रवाहित हो।

सोम उ ष्वाणः सोतृभिर् अधि ष्णुभिर् अवीनाम्. अश्वयेव हरिता याति धारया मन्द्रया याति धारया
A‹vayeva haritå yåti dhårayå mandrayå yåti dhårayå. Soma, invoked by celebrants, manifests with blissful inspiring powers of protection and promotion and, saving, watching, fascinating, goes forward, rushing, compelling, in an impetuous stream like waves of energy, and it also goes forward by a stream of mild motion, soothing and refreshing.
हे सोमदेव! आप यज्ञकर्ताओं द्वारा आहूत होकर, आनंदमय और प्रेरणादायक शक्तियों से युक्त होकर, रक्षा और उन्नति करते हुए, प्रवाहित होते हैं। आप वेगवान धाराओं के समान, उत्साह और बल के साथ आगे बढ़ते हैं, और साथ ही कोमल गति की धारा से, शांति और स्फूर्ति प्रदान करते हुए भी आगे बढ़ते हैं।

तवाहं सोम रारण सख्य इन्दो दिवे दिवे. पुर्ञुणि बभ्रो नि चरन्ति माम् अव परिधीँम्- रति ताँम् इहि
O Soma, light of life and universal joy of existence, I rejoice in your friendly company day in and day out. O mighty bearer sustainer of the universe, a host of negativities surround me, pray break through their bounds and come and save me.
हे सोम, जीवन के प्रकाश और अस्तित्व के सार्वभौमिक आनंद, मैं प्रतिदिन तुम्हारी मित्रतापूर्ण संगति में आनंदित होता हूँ। हे ब्रह्मांड के शक्तिशाली धारक, अनेक नकारात्मकताएँ मुझे घेरे हुए हैं, कृपया उनकी सीमाओं को तोड़कर आओ और मेरी रक्षा करो।

मृज्यमानः सुहस्त्या समुद्रे वाचमिन्वसि. रयिम् पिशΔगम् बहुलं पुरुस्पृहं पवमानाभ्यर्षसि
Rayim pi‹aΔgam bahula≈ puruspæha≈ pavamånåbhyar¶asi. O Spirit omnipotent with the world in your generous hands, celebrated and exalted, you stimulate and inspire the song of adoration in the depths of the heart and, pure, purifying, radiating and exalting, set in motion immense wealth of golden graces of universal love and desire for us.

Pure and all purifying, O Soma, spirit of peace and bliss, ever awake and awakening with your eternal consciousness, all protective and promotive, dearest in the heart of the cherished loving soul, you are the vibrant awareness of omniscience and the very life energy of life. इन्द्राय पवते मदः सोमो मरुत्वते सुतः. सहस्रधारो अत्यव्यम् अर्षति तमी मृजन्- त्यायवः
Soma, joy of existence, invoked and realised, flows purifying and consecrating for Indra, the vibrant soul, in a thousand streams of ecstasy and overflows the heart and soul of the devotee. That Spirit of the universe, intelligent dedicated yogis realise, exalt and glorify.
हे इन्द्र, हे सर्वव्यापी आत्मा, तुम्हारे लिए सोम रस, जो आनंद का स्रोत है, सहस्रों धाराओं में प्रवाहित हो रहा है। योगीजन इस दिव्य रस का अनुभव कर, उसकी महिमा का गान करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 521
पवस्व वाजसातमोइ᳓भि विश्वानि वार्या. त्वं समुद्रः प्रथमे विधर्मन् देवेभ्यः सोम मत्सरः
O Soma, spirit of universal light and joy, you are the harbinger of food, energy and victory. Radiate and move, purifying and inspiring, toward the spirit of universal vision and wealth for the achievement of knowledge and enlightenment. You are the first oceon of the first laws of Dharma who bore the mighty treasure trove of infinite light and joy and let it open to flow for the divine sages.
हे सोम, तुम अन्न, ऊर्जा और विजय के प्रदाता हो, जो सभी ऐश्वर्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए शुद्ध करते हुए प्रवाहित होते हो। तुम ही प्रथम धर्म के सागर हो, जिसने अनंत प्रकाश और आनंद का महान खजाना धारण किया और देवों के लिए उसे प्रकट किया।

पवमाना असृक्षत पवित्रमति धारया. मरुत्वन्तो मत्सरा इन्द्रिया हया मेधाम् अभि प्रयाँन्सि च
Marutvanto matsarå indriyå hayå medhåm abhi prayå~nsi ca. Purifying, energising and inspiring currents of ecstasy and nourishment for the senses, will, intellect and imagination flow by stream and shower at the speed of winds to the holy heart of the sagely celebrant.
हे पवमान देव! पवित्रता और शक्ति से परिपूर्ण, इंद्रियों, बुद्धि और कल्पना को पोषित करने वाली आनंद की धाराएँ पवन की गति से मेरे हृदय में प्रवाहित हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 523
प्र तु द्रव परि कोशं नि षीद नृभिः पुनानो अभि वाजम् अर्ष. अस्वं न त्वा वाजिनं मर्जयन्तोइ᳓च्छा बर्ही रशनाभिर् नयन्ति
O Soma, radiate, flow into the sanctity of the heart and sink into the soul of the devotee. Adored by the yajakas on the vedi, let the showers of joy stream forth. The celebrants, exalting your power and presence, invoke and invite you like energy itself with adorations to the grass seats of the yajna.
हे सोमदेव, हृदय की पवित्रता में प्रवाहित होकर आत्मा में निवास करें। यज्ञकर्तागण आपकी स्तुति करते हुए, आनंद की वर्षा करें, जैसे वे स्तुतियों द्वारा आपको यज्ञ की वेदी पर आमंत्रित करते हैं।

प्र काव्यम् उशनेव ब्रुवाणो देवो देवानां जनिमा विवक्ति. महिव्रतः शुचिभन्धुः पावकः पदा वराहो अभ्येति रेभन्
The brilliant poet, singing like an inspired fiery power divine, reveals the origin of nature's divinities and the rise of human brilliancies. Great is his commitment, inviolable his discipline, bonded is he with purity as a brother, having chosen light of the sun and shower of clouds for his element, and he goes forward proclaiming the message of his vision by the paths of piety.
हे देव! आप महान कवि की भांति, प्रेरणा से ओतप्रोत होकर, प्रकृति के देवों और मनुष्यों की प्रतिभाओं के उद्गम को प्रकट करते हैं। आपकी महान व्रत, पवित्रता से बंधा हुआ, सूर्य के प्रकाश और मेघों की वर्षा को अपना तत्व बनाकर, पवित्रता के पथों पर आगे बढ़ते हुए अपने ज्ञान का संदेश सुनाता है।

तिस्रो वाच ईरयति प्र वह्निर् ऋतस्य धीतिं ब्रह्मणो मनीषाम्. गावो यन्ति गोपतिं पृच्छमानाः सोमं यन्ति मतयो वावशानाः
Soma inspires three orders of speech: practical speech that carries on the daily business of life, the thought that conceives of the vibrant immanent divine presence, and the deeper language of silence which is the mode of transcendent reality. The language operations of daily business move in search of the master source of world mystery as in science and philosophy, and the speech of thought and imagination and of love Soma. (The three speeches in Vedic language are Ida, Sarasvati, and Mahi or Bharati as described in Rgveda 1, 13, 9 and Yajurveda 21, 19. Explained another way these are the language of the Rks or knowledge, Yajus

Divine Soma, moved and energised by the surge of golden impulse, joins its potency with the senses and mind, and thus seasoned and empowered, vibrant with vitality, it moves to the holiness of the heart like a sanative, or as a priest going to a yajnic enclosure, seat and anchor of sensitive visionary powers of humanity.
हेमंत की स्वर्णिम ऊर्जा से प्रेरित, दिव्य सोम रस देवताओं के साथ मिलकर अपनी शक्ति को इंद्रियों और मन में समाहित करता है। यह पवित्र हृदय में ऐसे प्रवाहित होता है जैसे कोई पुरोहित यज्ञशाला में प्रवेश करता है, जो मानवता की संवेदनशील दिव्य शक्तियों का केंद्र है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 527
सोमः पवते जनिता मतीनां जनिता दिवो जनिता पृथिव्याः. जनिताग्नेर् जनिता स्ञुर्यस्य जनि- तेन्द्रस्य जनितोत विष्णोः
Soma, spirit of divine peace, power and generous creativity, flows and purifies universally. It is generator of heavens, maker of the earth and creator of the nobilities of sagely wisdom, generator of fire, maker of the stars, manifester of its own omnipotence, and manifester of the omnipresence of its own self in expansive space.
हे सोम, तुम समस्त ज्ञान के जनक, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के निर्माता हो। तुम अग्नि, सूर्य, इंद्र और विष्णु के भी जनक हो, जो अपनी सर्वव्यापी शक्ति को प्रकट करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 528
अभि त्रिपृष्ंहं वृषणं वयोधाम् अΔगोषिणम् अवावशन्त वाणीः. वना वसानो वरुणो न सिन्धुर् वि रत्नधा दयते वार्याणि
The celebrants' songs of adoration in honour of the generous, virile, adorable and life bearing Soma, sustainer of three worlds arise in homage of love and faith. Holding precious treasures and powers of the world like Varuna, all covering space, and the ocean holding the deep seas, the wielder of world jewels bestows gifts of choice on mankind.
हे सोम! तीन लोकों के आधार, जीवनदाता, बलवान और पूजनीय तुम, भक्तों के प्रेम और श्रद्धा से युक्त स्तुति गान तुम्हारे प्रति उठते हैं। जैसे सर्वव्यापी वरुण और सागर रत्नों को धारण करते हैं, वैसे ही तुम भी संसार के बहुमूल्य रत्नों और शक्तियों को धारण कर मनुष्यों को श्रेष्ठ उपहार प्रदान करते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 529
अक्रान्त् समुद्रः प्रथमे विधर्मँन् जनयन् प्रजा भुवनस्य गोपाः. वृषा पवित्रे अधि सानो अव्ये बृहत् सोमो वावृधे स्वानो अद्रिह्
Soma, prime cause of the laws and world of existence, unfathomable as ocean, taking on by itself countless causes of existence in the vast vault of space and time, roaring and generating the evolving stars, planets and forms of life, is the ruling power of the universe. Potent and generous, infinite, creative and generative, refulgent Soma pervades the immaculate, sacred and protective universe and on top of it expands it and transcends.
हे सोम! आप ही सृष्टि के आदि कारण, असीम सागर के समान गहन, अनगिनत लोकों के रचयिता और भुवनों के रक्षक हैं। आप पवित्र, विशाल अंतरिक्ष में व्याप्त होकर, गर्जना करते हुए जीवन और ब्रह्मांड का विस्तार करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 530
कनिक्रन्ति हरिरा सृज्यमानः सीदन् वनस्य जंहरे पुनानः. नृभिर् यतः कृणुते निर्णिजं गामतो मतिं जनयत स्वधाभिः
Soma, divine spirit blithe and blissful, saviour and sustainer, invoked in meditation, abiding in the heart core of the soul, pure and purifying, vibrates loud and bold. Served and adored and celebrated by devotees, it renders the senses, mind and intelligence pure and immaculate and then it gives rise to spontaneous songs of praise offered with complete surrender and self- sacrifice.
हे हरि! तुम आनंदमय, सर्वव्यापी और हृदय में स्थित होकर आत्मा को पवित्र करते हो। तुम्हारी कृपा से इंद्रियाँ, मन और बुद्धि शुद्ध होती हैं, और भक्त प्रेमपूर्वक तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हुए आत्म-समर्पण से युक्त गीत गाते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 531
एष स्य ते मधुमाँम् इन्द्र सोमो वृषा वृष्णः परि पवित्रे अक्षाः. सहस्रदाः श्तदा भ्ञुरि- दावा शश्वत्तमम् बर्हिरा वाज्यस्थात्
Indra, omnipotent generous creator and ruler of the universe, this Soma is your honeyed shower of beneficence and grace which profusely flows over and across the immaculate world of life. May this Soma, giving a thousand boons in a hundred forms of infinite values, a mighty victorious divine force, abide by us and bless the universal vedi of human life with eternal grace.
हे इन्द्र, यह मधुमय सोम रस आपकी अमृत वर्षा के समान है, जो पवित्र जगत् में सर्वत्र व्याप्त है। सहस्रों वरदानों और अनन्त मूल्यों से युक्त यह सोम, एक महान् विजयी शक्ति के रूप में, हमारे जीवन की यज्ञवेदी को अपनी शाश्वत कृपा से अलंकृत करे।
Chapter 5 · Verse 532
पवस्व सोम मधुमाँन् ऋतावापो वसानो अधि सानो अव्ये. अव द्रोणानि घृतवन्ति रोह मदिन्- तमो मत्सर इन्द्रपानः
Flow, purify and bless, O Soma, rich in the honey sweets of life, high priest of cosmic yajna, reflecting in the cosmic processes of evolution on top of protective nature. Flow and abide in the depth of holy hearts deep in love and faith divine, O spirit most exhilarating, ecstatic and infinite source of fulfilment for Indra, potent vibrant soul, lover of divine glory.
हे सोम, जीवन के मधुर सार से परिपूर्ण, हे दिव्य यज्ञ के पुरोहित, हे प्रकृति के रक्षक, तुम प्रवाहित हो, पवित्र करो और आशीष दो। हे परम आनंददायक, हे इंद्र के लिए पूर्णता के स्रोत, तुम पवित्र हृदयों की गहराइयों में निवास करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 533
प्र सेनानीः श्ञुरो अग्ने रथानाम् गव्यन्नेति हर्षते अस्य सेना. भद्रान् कृण्वन्न् इन्द्र- हवान्त् सखिभ्य आ सोमो वस्त्रा रभसानि दत्ते
Soma, heroic brave leader, warrior and commander, marches at the head of chariots, ardently ambitious for positive gains for the commonalty, his army follows with joyous enthusiasm. Thus nobly fulfilling the divine call of Indra for the advancement and excellence of the friends of humanity, Soma takes on the robe and role of peace and protection and the arms for the defence of humanity.
हे सोम देव! आप रथों के अग्रगामी, वीर योद्धा और सेनापति हैं, जो प्रजा के कल्याण के लिए उत्साहपूर्वक आगे बढ़ते हैं, आपकी सेना आनंदित होकर आपका अनुसरण करती है। इंद्र के आह्वान का पालन करते हुए, आप मानवता के मित्रों के उत्थान और रक्षा के लिए शांति और सुरक्षा का वस्त्र धारण करते हैं।

प्र ते धारा मधुमतीर् असृग्रन् वारम् यत् प्ञुतो अत्येष्यव्यम्. पवमान पवसे धाम गोनाम् जनयन्त् स्ञुर्यम् अपिन्वो अर्कैः
O Soma, the honeyed showers of your gifts radiate and flow when you, with your power and purity, move to your favourite choice well protective and well protected. Indeed, pure and purifying, you move and bless the treasure homes of light, and, self-manifesting and generative, you vest the sun with the light that illuminates the days.
हे सोम, जब आप अपनी शक्ति और पवित्रता से अपने प्रिय स्थान की ओर बढ़ते हैं, तब आपके मधुर उपहारों की धाराएँ प्रवाहित होती हैं। आप शुद्ध और शुद्धिकारक होकर प्रकाश के धन-गृहों को आशीर्वाद देते हैं, और स्वयं प्रकट होकर सूर्य को वह प्रकाश प्रदान करते हैं जो दिनों को प्रकाशित करता है।

प्र गायताभ्यर्चाम देवान्त् सोमं हिनोत महते धनाय. स्वादुः पवताम् अति वारम् अव्यम् आ सीदतु कलशं देव इन्दुह्
Sing and celebrate, let us honour the divinities and exhort Soma for great victory and achievement of wealth, honour and excellence. Sweet and lovable, Soma rises to the protective position of choice and, loving the divinities, it abides in the right position at the centre.
हे देवगणों, हम गाकर और अर्चना करके सोम का महान धन और विजय के लिए आह्वान करें। मधुरता से बहता हुआ सोम, देवों को प्रिय लगने वाला, अपने योग्य स्थान पर विराजमान हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 536
प्र हिन्वानो जनिता रोदस्यो रथो न वाजं सनिषन्नयासीत्. इन्द्रं गच्छन्नायुधा सँन्शिशानो विश्वा वसु हस्तयोर् आदधानः
Inspiring the celebrants to action and achievement, creator of heaven and earth, winning strength and victory like a chariot warrior, moving to the karma-yogi, sharpening and calibrating weapons of warlike action, bearing all wealth and power of the world in hands, may the spirit of peace and power come and bless us.
हे जगत के रचयिता, रथ के समान विजय प्राप्त करते हुए, कर्मयोगी की ओर बढ़ते हुए, युद्ध के शस्त्रों को सुदृढ़ करते हुए, समस्त ऐश्वर्य को हाथों में धारण करते हुए, हे इंद्र, शांति और शक्ति की वह भावना हमें प्राप्त हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 537
तक्षद् यदी मनसो वेनतो वाग् ज्येष्ंहस्य धर्मं द्युक्षोर् अनीके. Åदीम् आयन् वरम् आ वावशाना जुष्ंअं पतिं कलशे गाव इन्दुम्
If the language of the mind in words of love of the beauty and splendour of the supreme spirit and law of the universe, were to visualise the picture-presence of Soma, ultimate sustenance of life, then all perceptions, thoughts and imaginations, loving and faithful, would move and concentrate into that presence of the choicest, most loved and beatific master vibrating in the heart core of the soul.
जब मन की वाणी, परम सत्य की सुंदरता और महिमा के प्रेम में, उस दिव्य स्वरूप का ध्यान करती है, तो सभी विचार और भावनाएँ उस हृदयस्थ, प्रियतम, आनंदमय प्रभु में एकाग्र हो जाती हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 538
साकमुक्षो मर्जयन्त स्वञ्सरो दश धीरस्य धीतयो धनुत्रीः. हरिः पर्यद्रवज्जाः स्ञुर्यस्य द्रोणं ननक्षे अत्यो न वाजी
Ten generous, agile, spontaneous and simultaneous sister faculties of the self-controlled, self- established yogi together concentrate, communicate and glorify Hari, Soma spirit of divine joy that eliminates want and suffering, and the Spirit, pervading the vibrations of divinity, the light born of the sun, radiates like a constant wave, reaches and settles in the heart core of the blessed soul, the seat of divinity. (The faculties are faculties of perception, thought and will which normally wander over the world of outside reality but which are controlled, concentrated and inverted in meditation and focussed on the presence of divinity within, and then the presence reveals itself in all its refulgent glory.)
हे योगी! तुम्हारे दस इंद्रिय-मन के गुण, जो स्वयं में स्थित और नियंत्रित हैं, एक साथ मिलकर उस हरि (परमात्मा) का गान करते हैं, जो आनंद का स्रोत है और सभी दुखों को दूर करता है। सूर्य के प्रकाश की भांति, वह दिव्य चेतना तुम्हारे हृदय में निरंतर प्रवाहित होती है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 539
अधि यद् अस्मिन् वाजिनीव शुभः स्पर्द्धन्ते धियः स्ञुरे न विशः. अपो वृणानः पवते कवीयान् व्रजम् न पशुवर्द्धनाय मन्म
As people exert themselves for the achievement of light and brilliance and when their mind, thoughts and higher intelligence concentrate on this Soma, divine spirit of peace and inspiring brilliance, for illumination, then the Soma spirit, choosing, loving and enlightening the intelligence, thought and creativity of the devotee, radiates into the mind and spirit of the devotee for the augmentation and elevation of the thought, imagination and sensibility of the celebrant.
जब मनुष्य प्रकाश और तेज की प्राप्ति के लिए स्वयं को समर्पित करते हैं और उनकी बुद्धि, विचार तथा उच्च चेतना इस सोम (दिव्य शांति और प्रेरणादायक तेज) पर केंद्रित होती है, तब वह सोम आत्मा भक्त के मन और आत्मा में प्रस्फुटित होकर उसकी बुद्धि, कल्पना और संवेदनशीलता को बढ़ाता है। यह सोम, भक्त की बुद्धि, विचार और रचनात्मकता को चुनकर, प्रेमपूर्वक प्रकाशित करता है, जिससे उसकी चेतना का संवर्धन होता है।

इन्दुर्वाजी पवते गोन्योघा इन्द्रे सोमः सह इन्वन् मदाय. हन्ति रक्षो बाधते पर्यरातिम् वरिवस् कृण्वन् वृजनस्य राजा
Indu, brilliant Soma, energetic and victorious, pure and purifying, vibrant and dynamic, creating strength, patience and endurance for the soul's joy, is ever on the move. It destroys evil, prevents all negativities and opposition and casts them far off, and, giving wealth, honour and excellence of the best order of our choice, rules as the brilliant creator, controller and dispenser of strength, courage, power and life saving vitality in existence.
हे सोम! तुम तेजस्वी, बलशाली और विजयशील हो, जो आत्मा के आनंद के लिए शक्ति, धैर्य और सहनशक्ति प्रदान करते हुए निरंतर प्रवाहित होते हो। तुम दुष्टों का नाश करते हो, सभी नकारात्मकताओं और विरोधों को दूर भगाते हो, और धन, सम्मान तथा श्रेष्ठता प्रदान कर, सामर्थ्य, साहस, शक्ति और जीवनदायिनी ऊर्जा के तेजस्वी निर्माता, नियंत्रक और प्रदाता के रूप में शासन करते हो।

अया पवा पवस्वैना वस्ञुनि माँम्श्चत्व इन्दो सरसि प्र धन्व. ब्रध्नश् चिद् यस्य वातो न ज्ञुतिं पुरुमेधाश्चित्तकवे नरं धात्
Generous, refulgent Soma spirit of beauty, peace and glory, sanctify us by these streams of grace. In the ocean depths of this honourable universe, energise and move all forms of wealth and peaceful settlements and consecrate us in the lake divine. Spirit of the expansive universe, dynamic like the stormy winds, high-priest of cosmic yajna for all, bless us with a settled state of humanity in the vibrant system of a volatile world.
हे सोमदेव, अपनी पवित्र धाराओं से हमें पवित्र करें और इस ब्रह्मांड रूपी महासागर में धन-संपदा और शांतिपूर्ण व्यवस्थाओं को प्रवाहित करें। हे विस्तृत ब्रह्मांड के देव, वायु के समान गतिशील, यज्ञ के पुरोहित, हमें इस चंचल विश्व में एक स्थिर मानव समाज का आशीर्वाद दें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 542
महत् तत् सोमो महिषश् चकारापां यद् गर्भोइ᳓वृणीत देवान्. अदधाद् इन्द्रे पव- मान ओजोइ᳓जनयत् स्ञुर्ये ज्योतिर् इन्दुः
Soma, potent absolute, generated the Mahat mode of Prakrti, Mother Nature, which is the womb of all elements, energies and forms of existence and which comprehends all perceptive, intelligential and psychic powers as well. And then the creative-generative lord of evolutionary action, Soma, vested lustre and energy in Indra, the soul, and, lord of light as it is, Soma vested light in the sun.
हे सोम, तुम ही परम शक्ति हो जिसने प्रकृति के महान रूप को उत्पन्न किया, जो समस्त तत्वों, ऊर्जाओं और अस्तित्व के रूपों का गर्भ है। तुमने ही इन्द्र (आत्मा) में बल और सूर्य में प्रकाश का संचार किया।
Chapter 5 · Verse 543
असर्जि वक्वा रथ्ये यथाजौ धिया मनोता प्रथमा मनीषा. दश स्वसारो अधि सानो अव्ये मृजन्ति वह्निम् सदनेष्वच्छ
As in a chariot race, so in the progressive business of organised society, an eloquent speaker, prominent thinker and manager of imaginative and decisive first order is appointed to take on the business of governance and administration. Ten cooperative persons capable of independent thinking, working in perfect unison like sister powers or ten pranas or ten senses of perception and volition, in the house, assist the leader on top of the protective social order of yajnic sanctity.
जैसे रथ की दौड़ में, वैसे ही संगठित समाज के प्रगतिशील कार्य में, एक वाक्पटु वक्ता, प्रमुख विचारक और प्रथम श्रेणी के निर्णायक प्रबंधक को शासन और प्रशासन का कार्य संभालने के लिए नियुक्त किया जाता है। दस सहयोगात्मक व्यक्ति, जो स्वतंत्र रूप से सोचने में सक्षम हैं, एक साथ मिलकर, घर में, यज्ञीय पवित्रता के सुरक्षात्मक सामाजिक व्यवस्था के शीर्ष पर नेता की सहायता करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 544
अपाम् इवेद् ञुर्मयस् तर्त्तुराणाः प्र मनीषा ईरते सोमम् अच्छ. नमस्यन्तीर् उप च यन्ति सं चाच विशन्त्युशतीर् उशन्तम्
Like waves of the sea pressing onward with force and speed, the songs of adoration rise and radiate with love to Soma. Expressive of ardent love, faith and reverence, they reach and join the divine presence which too is equally ardent and anxious to receive them.
जैसे समुद्र की लहरें बलपूर्वक आगे बढ़ती हैं, वैसे ही प्रेम और श्रद्धा से भरे भजन सोम (ईश्वर) की ओर बढ़ते हैं। ये भजन ईश्वर की दिव्य उपस्थिति में विलीन हो जाते हैं, जो उन्हें ग्रहण करने के लिए समान रूप से उत्सुक हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 545
पुरोजिती वो अन्धसः सुताय मादयित्नवे. अप श्वानं श्नथिष्ंअन सखायो दीर्घजिह्व्यम्
O friends, for your attainment of the purified and exhilarating Soma bliss of existence, eliminate vociferous disturbances of the mind and concentrate on the deep resounding voice of divinity.
हे सखाओं, अस्तित्व के शुद्ध और आनंददायक सोम-सुख की प्राप्ति के लिए, मन के कोलाहल को दूर करो और दिव्यता की गहन गूंज पर ध्यान केंद्रित करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 546
अयं प्ञुषा रयिर् भगः सोमः पुनानो अर्षति. पतिर् विश्वस्य भ्ञुमनो व्यख्यद् रोदसी उभे
Patir vi‹vasya bhμumano vyakhyad rodas∂ ubhe. protector, wealth and honour of the world, power and the glory, Soma that is pure and purifying, ever going forward with the world. It is the master, sustainer and ruler of the vast expansive universe and illuminates both heaven and earth.
हे सोम! तुम विश्व के रक्षक, धन और ऐश्वर्य के दाता हो, जो समस्त ब्रह्मांड को प्रकाशित करते हुए, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी दोनों को धारण करते हो। तुम शुद्ध और पवित्र करने वाले हो, जो निरंतर प्रगति करते रहते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 547
सुतासो मधुमत्तमाः सोमा इन्द्राय मन्दि- नः. पवित्रवन्तो अक्षरन् देवान् गच्छन्तु वो मदाः
Filtered, felt and cleansed, honey sweet soma streams, pure and exhilarating, flow for Indra, the soul, and may the exhilarations reach you, noble favourites of divinity.
मधुमय सोम रस, जो इंद्र के लिए आनंददायक है, शुद्ध होकर देवताओं तक पहुंचे, जिससे वे प्रसन्न हों। यह पवित्र सोम रस, जो आत्मा को तृप्त करता है, दिव्य आनंद प्रदान करे।
Chapter 5 · Verse 548
सोमाः पवन्त इन्दवोइ᳓स्मभ्यं गातुवित्त- माः. मित्राः स्वाना अरेपसः स्वाध्यः स्वर्- विदः
Streams of Soma flow for us, brilliant, eloquent and expansive, friendly, inspiring, free from sin, intellectually creative and spiritually illuminative.
हे सोम! हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी, तेजस्वी, मधुर वाणी वाले, मित्रवत, पाप रहित, ज्ञानवान और प्रकाशमान होकर प्रवाहित होइए।
Chapter 5 · Verse 549
अभी नो वाजसातमं रयिम् अर्ष शतस्पृहम्. इन्दो सहस्र-भर्णसम् तुवि-द्युम्नं विभासहम्
Indo sahasra-bharƒasam tuvi-dyumna≈ vibhåsaham. Indu, divine spirit of peace, power, beauty and grace, move and bless us to achieve wealth, honour and excellence of high order, universally loved and valued, a thousandfold sustaining, mighty powerful, all challenging bright and finally victorious.
हे इन्द्र देव, जो बलशाली, धनवान और समस्त ऐश्वर्य से युक्त हैं, हमें महान धन, यश और विजय प्रदान करें। आपकी कृपा से हम सब प्रकार की समृद्धि और उत्कृष्टता को प्राप्त करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 550
अभी नवन्ते अद्रुहः प्रियम् इन्द्रस्य काम्यम्. वत्सम् न प्ञुर्व आयुनि जातम् रिहन्ति मातर्ः
Just as young mothers love and caress the first born baby in early age, so do people free from malice and jealousy take to Soma, meditative realisation of divinity, dear favourite love of Indra, the soul.
जैसे नवजात शिशु को माताएं स्नेह से सहलाती हैं, वैसे ही द्वेष और ईर्ष्या से मुक्त जन, इन्द्र के प्रिय, ध्यान द्वारा प्राप्त दिव्य चेतना (सोम) को प्रेम करते हैं। यह आत्मा का प्रियतम स्वरूप है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 551
Å हर्यताय धृष्णवे धनुष्ंअन्वन्ति पौँम्- स्यम्. ›उक्रा वि यन्त्यसुराय निर्णिजे विपाम् अग्रे महीयुवः
For the lovely bold Soma, devotees wield and stretch the manly bow, and joyous celebrants of heaven and earth before the vibrants create and sing exalting songs of power and purity in honour of the life giving spirit of divinity.
हे दिव्य जीवन-दाता सोम के लिए, भक्तगण शक्ति और पवित्रता के स्तुतिगान करते हुए, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के आनंदित उत्सव मनाने वाले, पुरुषोचित धनुष को चढ़ाते और खींचते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 552
परि त्यं हर्यतं हरिं बभ्रुं पुनन्ति वारेण. यो देवान् विश्वाँन् इत् परि मदेन सह गच्छति
Ten psychic powers with the best of their potential adore and exalt that dear divinity, omniscience itself, who, omnipresent, pervades and rejoices with all divinities of the world with divine ecstasy.
हे प्रिय, सर्वज्ञ देव, अपनी सर्वोत्तम शक्तियों से पूजित और प्रशंसित होकर, वे सभी दिव्य शक्तियों के साथ आनंदित होते हुए, सर्वव्यापी होकर विचरण करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 553
प्र सुन्वानायान्धसो मर्तो न वष्ंअ तद् वचः. अप श्वानम् अराधसं हता मखं न भृगवः
That silent voice of the generative illuminative Soma of divine food, energy and enlightenment for the dedicated devotee, the ordinary mortal does not perceive. O yajakas, ward off the clamours and noises which disturb the meditative yajna as men of wisdom ward them off to save their yajna.
हे यजमानों, उस दिव्य सोम की मौन वाणी को साधारण मनुष्य नहीं सुन पाता, जो भक्त को अन्न, ऊर्जा और ज्ञान प्रदान करती है। इसलिए, यज्ञ में विघ्न डालने वाले कोलाहल को बुद्धिमान पुरुष जिस प्रकार अपने यज्ञ की रक्षा के लिए दूर करते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम भी दूर करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 554
अभि प्रियाणि पवते चनोहितो नामानि यह्वो अधि येषु वर्धते. Å स्ञुर्यस्य बृहतो बृहन्न् अधि रथं विष्व¤चम् अरुहद् विचक्षणः
Soma, spirit of life and joy of existence, mighty, infinite, omnipresent, pervades and vitalises all dear beautiful systems of waters and light, expansive and exalted therein. Greater than the great, all watching, it rides the grand chariot of the sun which comprehends and illuminates the whole world.
हे सोम, जीवन और आनंद के स्रोत, आप सर्वव्यापी होकर सभी प्रिय जल और प्रकाश की व्यवस्थाओं को शक्ति प्रदान करते हैं, और उनमें ही विस्तृत होते हैं। महान से भी महान, सर्वज्ञानी होते हुए, आप सूर्य के उस विशाल रथ पर आरूढ़ हैं जो संपूर्ण विश्व को प्रकाशित करता है।

अचोदसो नो धन्वन्त्विन्दवः प्र स्वानासो बृहद् देवेषु हरयः. वि चिद् अश्नाना इषयो अरातयोइ᳓र्यो नः सन्तु सनिषन्तु नो धियः
May the bright and blissful soma streams of divinity, self-moved and self-inspired, life-givine, gracious dispellers of darkness and suffering, inspire us to move forward in the vast yajnas of celestial proportions. Let the enemies of our food and energy perish. Let the saboteurs be destroyed. Let our hopes and plans be realised and fulfilled.
हे धनवान देवों! प्रकाशमान सोम की धाराएँ, जो स्वयं प्रेरित और जीवनदायिनी हैं, अंधकार और कष्टों को दूर करें। वे हमारी बुद्धि को प्रेरित करें और हमारे शत्रुओं का नाश करें, जिससे हमारी इच्छाएँ पूर्ण हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 556
एष प्र कोशे मधुमाँन् अचिक्रदद् इन्द्रस्य वज्रो वपुषो वपुष्ंअमः. अभ्यृýतस्य सुदुघा घृतश्चुतो वाश्रा अर्षन्ति पयसा च धेनवः
This soma, blissful spirit of the universe, full of honey sweets of joy, vibrates and reveals itself aloud in the ananda-maya kosha at the heart's core of the soul, potent as thunderbolt of Indra, beauty, power and bliss incarnate, most beautiful and vigorous of all beauty and power itself. All voices of speech replete with the spirit of truth and divinity, generous and overflowing with liquidity of meaning and spirit of divinity and divine law flow from it, about it and to it like milch cows overflowing with milk for the calf.
यह सोम, ब्रह्मांड की मधुर आत्मा, आनंद से परिपूर्ण होकर, हृदय के मूल में इंद्र के वज्र के समान शक्तिशाली, सौंदर्य, शक्ति और आनंद के साकार रूप में स्पंदित होती है। सत्य और दिव्यता की भावना से परिपूर्ण वाणी की सभी धाराएँ, दूध से भरी गौओं के समान, इसके चारों ओर और इससे प्रवाहित होती हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 557
प्रो अयासीद् इन्दुर् इन्द्रस्य निष्कृतं सखा सख्युर् न प्र मिनाति सΔगिरम्. मर्य इव युवतिभिह् समर्षति सोमः कलशे शत- यामना पथा
Indu, Soma, light of life and divine ecstasy, goes forward to the sacred heart of the devotee and, like a friend of friends, destroys contradictions, confirms complementarities and advances human growth. Thus, just as youthful mortals go with their lady love, join and protect them, and live a full life with vows kept within the bounds of discretion and the law, so does Soma in the sacred heart inspire the loved soul as a friend in covenant by a hundred paths of human possibilities of growth and advancement within the bounds of Dharma. The Lord does not break the promise ever.
हे सोम, जीवन के प्रकाश और दिव्य आनंद स्वरूप, तुम भक्त के हृदय में प्रवेश करते हो और मित्रों के मित्र के समान, विरोधों को नष्ट कर, सामंजस्य स्थापित करते हुए मानव प्रगति को बढ़ाते हो। जिस प्रकार युवा पुरुष अपनी प्रेयसी के साथ मिलकर, उसकी रक्षा करते हुए, धर्म की सीमाओं में रहकर पूर्ण जीवन जीते हैं, उसी प्रकार हे सोम, तुम हृदय में स्थित आत्मा को सौ मार्गों से प्रेरित करते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 558
धर्ता दिवः पवते कृत्व्यो रसो दक्षो देवा- नाम् अनुमाद्यो नृभिः. हरिः सृजानो अत्यो न सत्वभिर् वृथा पाजाΔसि कृणुषे नदीष्वा
Soma, joyous spirit of the universe, sustainer of the regions of light, constant doer, eternal delight and bliss of divinities, perfect omnipotent power, sole purifies and sanctifies the life of existence. Destroyer of want and suffering, ever creative, with its own powers spontaneously, like energy itself creates movement and growth in the channels of existence.
हे सोम, तुम प्रकाश लोकों के धारक, देवताओं के आनंदमय रस हो, जो अपनी शक्तियों से जीवन के सभी मार्गों को शुद्ध और पवित्र करते हो। तुम ही अभाव और कष्टों के नाशक, नित्य सृजनशील हो, जो स्वयं ऊर्जा की भांति अस्तित्व में गति और विकास उत्पन्न करते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 559
वृषा मतीनां पवते विचक्षणः सोमो अह्नां प्रतरीतोषसां दिवः. प्राणा सिन्ध्ञुनां कलशाँन् अचिक्रदद् इन्द्रस्य हार्द्याविशन् मनीषिभिः
Generous inspirer of the intelligent and meditative souls, Soma pervades, flows and purifies. Omniscient and all watching, it is the illuminator of the day, the dawn and the sun. Life energy of floods, rivers, oceans and the seas, it vibrates in all forms of existence. It loves the sacred heart and with love it enters and blesses the heart core of the pious and powerful soul of humanity. Such is Soma celebrated by the sages and wise scholars.
हे सोम! तुम बुद्धिमानों और ध्यान करने वालों के प्रेरक हो, तुम प्रवाहित होते हो और पवित्र करते हो। तुम दिन, उषा और सूर्य के प्रकाशक हो, और नदियों तथा महासागरों की जीवन ऊर्जा हो, जो सभी अस्तित्व में स्पंदित होती है। तुम पवित्र हृदय को प्रिय हो और प्रेम से साधु-संतों के हृदय में प्रवेश कर उन्हें आशीष देते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 560
त्रिर् अस्मै सप्त धेनवो दुदुह्रिरे सत्याम् आशिरं परमे व्योमनि. चत्वार्यन्या भु- वनानि निर्णिजे चार्ञुणि चक्रे यद् ऋतैर् अवर्धत
Thrice seven cows, creative powers of natural evolution, generate the milky strain of vitality added to the evolving reality in the service of the creator Soma in the cosmic yajna in absolute time and space, Soma who also created four other beautiful orders of existence for the glory and sanctity of existence which grows by the laws of cosmic dynamics. (Rg. 9-70-1) (The seven cows may be interpreted as the seven evolutes of Prakrti: mahan, ahankara and five subtle elements of ether or akasha, energy or vayu, fire or agni, water or apah, and earth or prthivi. Three are orders of sattva or thought, rajas or energy, and tamas or matter. This makes the thrice seven, the four other beautiful orders of existence may be interpreted as mana (mind), buddhi (discriminative intelligence), chitta (memory) and ahankara (I-sense or existential personality). Another interpretation could be the four Vedas, knowledge, the corresponding order of existence in terms of awareness and expression.
सत्य, परम व्योम में स्थित सोम के लिए, सात गौएँ तीन बार अमृत का दोहन करती हैं, जो उस परम सत्ता में विलीन हो जाता है। उस सोम ने चार अन्य लोकों की रचना की, जो इस सृष्टि के सौंदर्य और पवित्रता को बढ़ाते हैं, और जो ब्रह्मांडीय नियमों से विकसित होती है।

इन्द्राय सोम सुषुतः परि स्रवापामीवा भवतु रक्षसा सह. मा ते रसस्य मत्सत द्वयाविनो द्रविणस्वन्त इह सन्त्विन्दवः
O Soma, divine joy of life, distilled and realised in meditation, flow for the delight of the soul. Let adversities and ailments be far off, give us freedom from negativities, contradictions, adversities and violence. Double dealers would not have the joy of that experience and freedom. May all streams of Soma be abundant in wealth, honour and excellence.
हे सोम, ध्यान में सिद्ध हुए दिव्य आनंद, आत्मा के उल्लास के लिए प्रवाहित हों। विघ्न-बाधाएँ दूर रहें, हमें नकारात्मकता, द्वंद्व और हिंसा से मुक्ति मिले। धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता से परिपूर्ण सोम की धाराएँ यहाँ हों।
Chapter 5 · Verse 562
असावि सोमो अरुषो वृषा हरी राजेव दस्मो अभि गा अचिक्रदत्. पुनानो वारम् अत्येष्यव्ययं श्येनो न योनिं घृतवन्तम् आसदत्
Soma, self-refulgent supreme creative spirit of the universe, virile and generous, dispeller of darkness and deprivation, regal and gracious like a ruler, self- moves, vibrating to the generation of stars and planets. Itself pure, purifying and sanctifying, it moves to manifest in the heart of imperishable Prakrti as it chooses and, like the sun that warms and fertilises, it enlivens the generative centre of life as its own womb of manifestive existence. Thus does Soma create and generate the universe.
हे सोम, तुम स्वयं प्रकाशित, शक्तिशाली और उदार हो, अंधकार और अभाव को दूर करने वाले, राजा के समान तेजस्वी और कृपालु। तुम स्वयं ही गतिमान होकर, सृष्टि के निर्माण के लिए स्पंदित होते हो, और अपने शुद्ध स्वरूप से, अव्यय प्रकृति में प्रकट होने के लिए अग्रसर होते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 563
प्र देवम् अच्छा मधुमन्त इन्दवोइ᳓- सिष्यदन्त गाव आ न धेनवः. बर्हिषदो वचनावन्त ञुधभिः परिस्रुतम् उस्रिया निर्णिजं धिरे
Seekers of the light and soma sweetness of divinity, themselves noble and refined with honey sweets of culture, manners and holy language, approach the refulgent and generous divine lord like calves going to mother cows. Sitting on the holy grass of yajna at dawn, eloquent of tongue and clear of understanding, they receive and treasure the nectar stream of soma, peace and bliss of divinity, as calves receive milk streaming from the udders or as dawns receive radiations of light from the sun over the night's darkness.
हे दिव्य प्रकाश और अमृत के अभिलाषी साधकों! मधुर वाणी और उत्तम आचरण से युक्त होकर, तुम उस तेजस्वी और उदार परमेश्वर की ओर ऐसे बढ़ो, जैसे बछड़े अपनी माँ गायों की ओर जाते हैं। यज्ञ की पवित्र वेदी पर बैठकर, स्पष्ट वाणी और निर्मल बुद्धि से, तुम उस अमृत धारा का पान करो जो शांति और आनंद प्रदान करती है।

अ¤जते व्य¤जते सम¤जते कृतुं रिहन्ति मध्वाभ्य¤जते. सिन्धोरुच्छ्वासे पतयन्तम् उक्षणम् हिर्ण्यपावाः पशुमप्सु गृभ्णते
They realise it in the vibrant soul, diversify the presence in various statements of definition and communication, and integrate the experience and the statements in the awareness of its absolute glory. They with honey sweets of homage in acts of soma yajna. In these ways of awareness, thoughts, words and deeds, do lovers of the golden glory of soma realise and integrate with the all watching universal power and presence vaulting on top of their waves of consciousness with incessant showers of bliss divine.
मधुमय भावों से वे उस परम सत्ता को अनुभव करते हैं, जो चेतना की लहरों पर आनंद की वर्षा करती हुई सर्वव्यापी है। वे अपने कर्मों और वाणी से उस स्वर्णिम महिमा को प्राप्त करते हैं और उस दिव्य शक्ति में विलीन हो जाते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 565
पवित्रं ते विततं ब्रह्मणस्पते प्रभुर् गात्राणि पर्येषि विश्वतः. अतप्त-तन्ञुर् न तद् आमो अश्नुते शृतास इद् वहन्तः सं तद् आशत
Vast and expansive is your holy creation of existence and the voice divine, O Brhaspati, lord of expansive universe. You are the master and supreme passed through the crucibles of discipline cannot reach to that presence, but the mature and seasoned ones who still maintain the ordeal of fire and abide by the presence attain to it and the divine joy.
हे बृहस्पति, आपकी पवित्र रचना और दिव्य वाणी विशाल और विस्तृत है, हे अनंत ब्रह्मांड के स्वामी। जो स्वयं को तपाए बिना उस उपस्थिति तक नहीं पहुँच सकते, केवल वे ही जो अग्नि की परीक्षा में टिके रहते हैं और उस उपस्थिति में लीन रहते हैं, वे ही उस दिव्य आनंद को प्राप्त करते हैं।

इन्द्रम् अच्छ सुता इमे वृषणम् यन्तु हरयः. ›रुष्ंए जातास इन्दवः स्वर्विदः
May these realised, cleansed and confirmed, blessed, beautiful and brilliant virtues and sanskars touching the bounds of divine bliss, emerging and risen in the mind, well reach and seep into the heart core of the soul completely and permanently.
हे इन्द्रदेव, ये शुद्ध, पुष्ट और कल्याणकारी संस्कार, जो दिव्य आनंद की सीमा तक पहुँचकर मन में उत्पन्न हुए हैं, आत्मा के हृदय में पूर्णतः समा जाएँ। ये सत्य-ज्ञान से युक्त होकर आपके श्रवण के लिए प्रस्तुत हैं।

प्र धन्वा सोम जागृविर् इन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव. द्युमन्तं शुष्ममा भर स्वर्विदम्
Flow on, O Soma, spirit of divine bliss, ever awake, brilliant and enlightening, streaming on and on for Indra, the soul, bear and bring the light and fire of the sun and vision of heaven.
हे सोम, दिव्य आनंद के आत्मा, सदा जागृत, तेजस्वी और प्रबुद्ध होकर इंद्र के लिए प्रवाहित हो, सूर्य का प्रकाश और स्वर्ग का दर्शन लाओ।

सखाय आ नि षीदत पुनानाय प्र गायत. ›इशुं न यज्¤ऐः परि भ्ञुषत श्रिये
Come friends, sit on the yajna vedi, sing and celebrate Soma, pure and purifying spirit of life, and with yajna exalt him like an adorable power for the grace and glory of life.
हे मित्रो, यज्ञवेदी पर बैठो और सोम का गान करो, जो जीवन का शुद्ध और पवित्र रस है, और यज्ञ द्वारा उसकी स्तुति करो, जो जीवन की कृपा और महिमा के लिए एक पूजनीय शक्ति है।

सोमः पुनान ञुर्मिणाव्यं वारं वि धावति. अग्रे वाचः पवमानः कनिक्रदत्
Agre våca¨ pavamåna¨ kanikradat. Soma, pure and purifying, protective and blissful, flowing by streams and sanctifying, roaring with ancient and original hymns of divine adoration, rushes to the heart core of the distinguished soul.
हे सोमदेव! आप पवित्र, शुद्ध करने वाले और आनंदमय हैं, जो धाराओं के समान बहते हुए पवित्र करते हैं और दिव्य स्तुतियों के साथ गर्जना करते हुए आत्मा के हृदय में प्रवेश करते हैं।

प्र पुनानाय वेधसे सोमाय वच उच्यते. भृतिम् न भरा मतिभिर्जुजोषते
Bhætim na bharå matibhirjujo¶ate. Sing rising songs of adoration in honour of Soma, pure and purifying, omniscient and inspiring ordainer of life, and offer the songs as homage of yajnic gratitude. Soma feels pleased with enlightened songs of love and faith.
हे सर्वज्ञ, पवित्र और जीवन के प्रेरक सोम देव, आपकी स्तुति में ज्ञानवर्धक और प्रेमपूर्ण गीत गाए जाते हैं।

गोमन् न इन्दो अञ्स्ववत् सुतः सुदक्ष धनिव. ›उचिम् च वर्णम् अधि गोषु धारय
O Soma, refulgent spirit of divine bliss and beauty, manifest every where and realised within, commanding universal power and perfection, pray set in motion for us the flow of wealth full of lands, cows, knowledge and culture, and of horses, movement, progress and achievement. I pray bless me that I may above all, above mind and senses and above the things mind and senses are involved with.

Gobhi¶¢e varƒam abhi våsayåmasi. Our songs of adoration celebrate and exalt you as creator, knower and giver of peace, power, wealth and honours of the world. Indeed, with thoughts, words and vision, we glorify your power and presence as it emerges in our experience.

The beauteous and beatific divine saviour spirit of Soma vibrates, purifies and flows with tremendous force, casting off all crookedness and contradictions, and overflowing with valour, honour and excellence for the celebrants and their heroic progeny for generations.

मधुर आनंद से परिपूर्ण, सुरक्षित हृदय में सोम का दिव्य स्वरूप स्पंदित होता है, और सप्त छंदों में ऋषियों के स्तुति गान उस ईश्वरीय मार्गदर्शन के प्रति आनंदित होकर महिमा का गान करते हैं।

पवस्व मधुमत्तम इन्द्राय सोम क्रतु- वित्तमो मदः. महि द्युक्षतमो मदः
O Soma, sweetest honey spirit of light, action and joy, radiate purifying for Indra, the soul. You are the wisest spirit of the knowledge of holy action, greatest and most enlightened spirit of joy.
हे सोम, मधुमय, ज्ञानमय, इन्द्र (आत्मा) के लिए पवित्र कर्मों के ज्ञान से युक्त होकर, आनंद के सबसे प्रबुद्ध स्वरूप के रूप में प्रवाहित हो।

अभि द्युम्नं बृहद्यश इषस्पते दिदीहि देव देवयुम्. वि कोशं मध्यमं युव
O refulgent generous Soma spirit of life, lover of divinities, master of food and energy for body, mind and soul, give us the light to rise to the honour and excellence of higher life towards divinity, and for that pray open the middle cover of the soul and let us rise to the state of divine bliss.
हे तेजस्वी, उदार, जीवन-शक्ति के स्वामी, देवों के प्रिय, अन्न और ऊर्जा के दाता, हमें उच्चतर, दिव्य जीवन की ओर बढ़ने का प्रकाश प्रदान करें, और इसके लिए, हे प्रभु, आत्मा के मध्य आवरण को खोलें और हमें दिव्य आनंद की अवस्था तक ले चलें।

O celebrants, come, realise and all-ways serve Soma and rays of light, the spirit pervasive in the universe and deep as the bottomless ocean.
हे यज्ञकर्तागण, सोम (परमात्मा) और प्रकाश की किरणों का अनुभव करो और सर्वदा उनकी सेवा करो, जो ब्रह्मांड में व्याप्त हैं और अथाह सागर के समान गहरे हैं।

एतमु त्यं मदच्युतं सहस्र-धारं वृषभं दिवो-दुहम्.विश्वा वस्ञुनि बिभ्रतम्
This treasure trove of the wealth, honour and excellence of existence, overflowing with honey sweets of ecstasy in a thousand streams, virile, brilliant and grace of divinity for life and joy.
यह मंत्र उस परम सत्य का वर्णन करता है जो अनंत आनंद और ऐश्वर्य से परिपूर्ण है, जो सहस्रों धाराओं के समान बहता है और जीवन को दिव्यता तथा उल्लास से भर देता है। यह वह अक्षय निधि है जो समस्त धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता को धारण करती है।

स सुन्वे यो वस्ञुनां यो रायाम् आनेता य इडानाम्. सोमो यः सुक्ञ्सितीनाम्
That Soma which is the generator, harbinger and ruler guide of all forms of wealth, honour and excellence, lands, knowledge and awareness, and of happy homes is thus realised in its divine manifestation.
हे सोम देव! आप ही समस्त ऐश्वर्य, धन, ज्ञान और सुख-समृद्धि के प्रदाता, मार्गदर्शक और शासक हैं, आपकी दिव्य महिमा को इस प्रकार जाना जाता है।

त्वं ह्याýΔग दैव्यं पवमान जनिमानि द्युमत्तमः. अमृतत्वाय घोषयन्
O Soma, dear as life, pure and purifying, most refulgent enlightened spirit, only you can call up born humanity to holy life and proclaim the path to immortality.
हे सोम, तुम ही जीवन के समान प्रिय, पवित्र और पवित्र करने वाले, अत्यंत तेजस्वी ज्ञानमय आत्मा हो, जो जन्म लेने वाले मनुष्यों को अमरत्व की ओर ले जाकर पवित्र जीवन का उद्घोष करते हो।

It is that Soma, most joyous spirit of life's beauty, which, when realised by controlled minds of choice meditative order, flows pure and purifying by the stream of ecstasy, playful and exalting like waves of the sea.
यह वह सोम है, जीवन की सुंदरता की परम आनंदमयी आत्मा, जो संयमित चित्त द्वारा अनुभव किए जाने पर, आनंद की धारा से शुद्ध और पवित्र बहता है, समुद्र की लहरों की तरह चंचल और उत्थानकारी है।

य उस्रिया अपि या अन्तरश्मनि निर् गा अक्¡न्तद् ओजसा. अभि व्रजं तत्निषे गव्यम् अश्व्यं वर्मीव धृष्णवा रुज. ॐ वर्मीव धृष्णवा रुज
You who with your might and lustre break open the cloud and release the streams of water from the womb of the cloud, who pervade and extend your power over the vault of the universe, pray come like a warrior in arms and break open the paths of progress in knowledge and advancement. Spirit omnipotent, break open the paths of light.
हे शक्तिमान देव, आप अपनी बल और तेज से मेघ को भेदकर जलधाराओं को मुक्त करते हैं, और अपनी शक्ति से ब्रह्मांड को व्याप्त करते हैं। हे सर्वशक्तिमान आत्मा, ज्ञान और उन्नति के मार्ग को प्रशस्त करें, जैसे एक योद्धा युद्ध के लिए तैयार होकर विजय प्राप्त करता है।

Indra, lord of noblest virtue and knowledge, bear and bring us that best and most lustrous food for the nourishment of body and mind which we cherish and by which, O wondrous hero of golden helmet and wielder of thunder in hand, you fill, fulfil and replenish both the earth and the sky upto heaven.
हे इन्द्र, हे श्रेष्ठ गुणों और ज्ञान के स्वामी, हमें वह सर्वोत्तम और तेजस्वी अन्न प्रदान करें जो हमारे शरीर और मन का पोषण करता है, जिसे हम चाहते हैं और जिससे, हे अद्भुत वीर, आप पृथ्वी और स्वर्ग दोनों को तृप्त करते हैं।

इन्द्रो राजा जगतश् चर्षणीनाम् अधिक्षमा विश्वर्ञुपं यदस्य. ततो ददाति दाशुषे वस्ञुनि चोदद् राध उपस्तुतं चिद् अर्वाक्
Indra is the sovereign ruler of the moving world and her people on the earth. Whatever various and manifold wealth there is on the earth, he alone is the master ruler. And therefrom he gives profusely of wealth, honour and excellence to the generous man of charity, inspires our potential strength and success, and when he is closely adored in meditation, he reveals his presence to our direct vision and experience.
इंद्र, जो चराचर जगत के अधिपति और शासक हैं, वे ही समस्त ऐश्वर्य के स्वामी हैं। वे ही दानशील भक्त को धन, यश और सामर्थ्य प्रदान करते हैं, और ध्यान में स्थित होने पर प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन देते हैं।

यस्येदमा रजो युजस् तुजे जने वनं स्वः. इन्द्रस्य रन्त्यम् बृहत्
Indrasya rantyam bæhat. This abundant, vast and gracious charity of Indra, this divine bliss of the self-refulgent lord, is dear and adorable among the generous people. May this charity and grace of the lord flow to us.
हे इन्द्र देव! आपका यह विशाल, आनंदमय और उदार दान, जो स्वयं प्रकाशित प्रभु का दिव्य सुख है, उदार मनुष्यों के बीच प्रिय और पूजनीय है। यह दान और कृपा हम पर प्रवाहित हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 589
उद् उत्तमम् वरुण पाशम् अस्मद् अवाधमं वि मध्यमं श्रथाय. अथादित्य व्रते वयं तवानागसो अदितये स्याम
Varuna, dearest lord of our choice, we pray, loosen the highest, middling and the lowest bonds of our sin and slavery so that, O Lord Supreme of light, free from sin and slavery and living within the rules of your law, we may be fit for the attainment of the ultimate freedom of Moksha.
हे वरुण देव, हमारी प्रार्थना है कि आप हमारे उच्चतम, मध्यम और निम्नतम पापों तथा बंधनों को शिथिल करें, जिससे हम, हे प्रकाशमय परमेश्वर, आपके नियमों का पालन करते हुए, पाप और दासता से मुक्त होकर मोक्ष की परम प्राप्ति के योग्य बन सकें।

त्वया वयं पवमानेन सोम भरे कृतं वि चिनुयाम शश्वत्. तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो माम- हन्ताम् अदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः
O Soma, spirit of divine peace, power, beauty and glory, in our battle for self-control and divine realisation, let us always choose and abide by paths and performances shown and accomplished by you, pure and purifying power of divinity. And that resolve of ours, we pray, may Mitra, the sun, Varuna, the ocean, Aditi, mother Infinity, Sindhu, divine space and fluent vapour, earth and heaven, help us achieve with credit.

प्र त आश्विनीः पवमान धेनवो दिव्या असृग्रन् पयसा धरीमणि. प्रान्तरिक्षात् स्थाविरीस्ते असृक्षत ये त्वा मृजन्त्यृषिषाण वेधसः
O pure and purifying Soma, your divine showers of joy streaming fast at the speed of thought flow on with the milk of grace into the heart cave of the soul, they are the showers of fulfilment in the heart core of the soul within, which the wise sages, realised souls of knowledge, create and exalt in the heart.
हे सोम, हे पवित्र करने वाले, आपके दिव्य आनंद की धाराएँ मन की गति से प्रवाहित होकर हृदय गुफा में कृपा के दूध के समान बहती हैं। ये पूर्णता की धाराएँ हैं, जिन्हें ज्ञानी ऋषि हृदय में उत्पन्न करते हैं और बढ़ाते हैं।

उभय्तः पवमानस्य रश्मयो ध्रुवस्य सतः परि यन्ति केतवः. यदी पवित्रे अधि मृज्यते हरिः सत्ता नि योनौ कलशेषु सीदति
The rays of the light of Soma, lord existent, immovable, pure and purifying, pervading over both earth and the skies, radiate all round. When it is felt and adored, exalted in the pure heart, then the sanctifier presence settles and abides in the sacred hearts of the celebrants, the real seat of its own love and choice.

O Soma, all seeing lord of existence, the mighty radiations of your power reach and prevail over all regions of the world. All pervasive, you flow and vibrate with the virtues of your own nature, power and function and, O sovereign sustainer of the entire universe, you shine and rule supreme.

Jyotir vai‹vånara≈ bæhat. Let Soma, progressive, active and zealous power dedicated to humanity and divinity, create the light and culture of universal expansive order from the light of heaven, sublime, awful and beautiful as the light and resounding roar of thunder and lightning.

We adore the ceaseless radiations of divinity which, like restless rays of the sun, blazing with lustrous glory, move and shower on the earth and dispel the dark cover of the night.

The music of divinity, pure, purifying and edifying, is heard like showers of rain on earth, like flashes of lightning and roar of thunder which shine and rumble over the sky. This is the reflection of the might, majesty and generosity of Soma.
दिव्य संगीत, जो शुद्ध, पवित्र और ज्ञानवर्धक है, पृथ्वी पर वर्षा की बूंदों के समान, आकाश में चमकने वाली बिजली और गरजने वाले मेघों की गर्जना के समान सुनाई देता है। यह सोम की शक्ति, महिमा और उदारता का प्रतिबिंब है।

परि णः शर्मयन्त्या धारया सोम विश्वतः. सरा रसेव विष्ंअपम्
Sarå raseva vi¶¢apam. O Soma, spirit of beauty, bliss and peace, just as the universe from centre to summit abounds in the beauty and majesty of divinity, so let us all in heart and soul be blest with showers of peace and pleasure of total well-being from all around our life in space and time.
हे सोम, सौंदर्य, आनंद और शांति के सार, जैसे ब्रह्मांड केंद्र से शिखर तक दिव्यता की सुंदरता और महिमा से परिपूर्ण है, वैसे ही हम सभी हृदय और आत्मा से अपने जीवन के हर ओर से पूर्ण कल्याण की शांति और सुख की वर्षा से धन्य हों।

परिष्कृण्वन्ननिष्कृतं जनाय यातयन्निषः. वृष्ंइं दिवः परि स्रव
V涢i≈ diva¨ pari srava. Go forward cleansing, purifying and perfecting the uninitiated, leading people to strive for food, energy and advancement. Indeed, bring the showers of the light of heaven on earth.
हे प्रकाशमान देव! अज्ञानियों को शुद्ध करते हुए, उन्हें अन्न, ऊर्जा और उन्नति के लिए प्रेरित करते हुए आगे बढ़ें, मानो स्वर्ग से वर्षा हो रही हो।

अयं स यो दिवस् परि रघुयामा पवित्र आ. सिन्धोर्ञुर्मा व्यक्षरत्
Sindhorμurmå vyak¶arat. This Soma is the spirit of joy which, at instant and universal speed, descends and manifests in the devotee's pure soul from the light of divinity and stimulates oceanic waves of ecstasy to roll in the heart.
यह सोम आनंद का वह दिव्य स्वरूप है जो पल भर में, सर्वव्यापी गति से, भक्त की पवित्र आत्मा में अवतरित होकर प्रकट होता है और हृदय में परमानंद की असीम लहरें उत्पन्न करता है।

सुत एति पवित्र आ त्विषिं दधान ओजसा. विचक्षाणो विरोचयन्
Vicak¶åƒo virocayan. Soma, universal watchful guardian and light giver of the world, discovered and realised in the self, wearing its celestial light and lustre, manifests and shines in the pure soul of the devotee.
हे सोम देव, आप विश्व के सर्वव्यापी रक्षक और प्रकाशक हैं, जो अपने दिव्य तेज और कांति से युक्त होकर, भक्त के शुद्ध हृदय में प्रकट होते हैं और प्रकाशित होते हैं।

Åविवासन् परावतो अथो अर्वावतः सुतः. इन्द्राय सिच्यते मधु
Self-manifested, illuminating the soul from far as well as from near, it rains showers of honey sweets of divine ecstasy for the soul.
हे इन्द्रदेव, आपके लिए दिव्य आनंद के मधुमय रस की वर्षा होती है, जो आत्मा को दूर और समीप से प्रकाशित करती है।

समीचीना अन्ञुषत हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः. इन्दुमिन्द्राय पीतये
Indumindråya p∂taye. Devoted yajakas in faith and perfect form together adore and glorify Soma, eliminator of pain, and with adamantine practice of meditation stimulate its presence to power for the pleasure and ecstasy of the mind and soul.
हे भक्तजनो, पूर्ण श्रद्धा और भक्तिभाव से मिलकर सोम रस का सेवन करो, जो इंद्र के लिए है। ध्यान की दृढ़ता से उस सोम को उत्तेजित करो, जो दुखों को दूर करता है और मन तथा आत्मा को आनंदित करता है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 904
हिन्वन्ति स्ञुरमुस्रयः स्वसारो जामयस्पतिम् महामिन्दुं महीयुवः
Mahåmindu≈ mah∂yuva¨. Just as lights of the dawn like loving sisters fore- run and herald and exalt the sun, so do the senses, mind and intelligence together in service of the great soul reveal the power and presence of the supreme lord of the universe, blissful father sustainer of existence.
हे सूर्यदेव, जैसे उषा की किरणें प्रेममयी बहनों के समान आपका स्वागत करती हैं और आपकी महिमा का गान करती हैं, वैसे ही इन्द्रियाँ, मन और बुद्धि मिलकर आत्मा के आश्रय में उस परम पिता, ब्रह्मांड के स्वामी और जीवन के रक्षक की शक्ति और उपस्थिति को प्रकट करते हैं।

Vi‹vå vasμunyå vi‹a. May the self-refulgent lord supreme over all divinities of nature and humanity, pure and purifying, by his divine beauty and glory bring us all wealth, honour and excellence of the world and bless our heart and soul.
हे परम तेजस्वी, सर्वव्यापी देव! आप सभी देवों के लिए सोम रस के समान शुद्ध और पवित्र हैं। अपनी दिव्य कांति और ऐश्वर्य से हमें समस्त धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता प्रदान करें, और हमारे हृदय व आत्मा को प्रकाशित करें।

जनस्य गोपा अजनिष्ंअ जागृविरग्निः सुदक्षः सुविताय नव्यसे. घृतप्रतीको बृहता दिविस्- पृशा द्युमद् विभाति भरतेभ्यः शुचिः
Agni, fire energy, friend and protector of man, ever awake, versatile power, it arises for the latest good of humanity. Feeding and rising on the fuel of ghrta, shining pure and magnificent with heat and light touching the skies, it shines and gives light for those who feed and keep the fire burning.
हे अग्निदेव, आप मनुष्यों के रक्षक और जागृत शक्ति हैं, जो मानवता के कल्याण के लिए नित्य प्रकट होते हैं। घी से प्रदीप्त, विशाल और प्रकाशमान होकर, आप स्वर्ग तक पहुँचते हैं और यज्ञ करने वालों को शुद्ध प्रकाश प्रदान करते हैं।

त्वामग्ने अΔगिरसो गुहा हितम् अन्वविन्द- न्छिश्रियाणं वनेवने. स जायसे मथ्यमा- नः सहो महत्त्वाम् आहुः सहसस्पुत्रम् अΔगिरः
Angira, life breath of the universe, light and fire of the world, Agni, pervading every forest, every ray of light and every living being, holy yajakas dedicated to you as to the breath of life awaken and realise you through meditation in the cave of the heart when you are hidden as a mysterious flame, and you, stirred through contemplation, concentrated and enkindled, rise as a great power of light and victory. Rightly they call you manifestation of the omnipotent.
हे अग्निदेव, आप ही सर्वव्यापी हैं, जो हृदय की गुफा में छिपे हुए हैं और जिन्हें ज्ञानीजन ध्यान द्वारा प्राप्त करते हैं। आप ही उत्पन्न होकर महान शक्ति के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, इसलिए आपको सर्वशक्तिमान का पुत्र कहा जाता है।

यज्¤अस्य केतुं प्रथमं पुरोहितम् अग्निं नरस्त्रिषधस्थे समिन्धते. इन्द्रेण देवैः सरथं स बर्हिषि सीदन् नि होता यजथाय सुक्रतुः
Agni is the leader, mark of the science of yajna, first highpriest in the process, which the leading lights among people kindle and establish in three stages of knowledge, observance of Dharma and performance of karma, in three regions of earth, sky and the solar sphere. And Agni takes the prime seat on the grass on the vedi with Indra, power, devas, divine givers of nature, as it comes with its chariot which carries it with fragrance to all regions. It is the sanctifier for yajnic initiation, conduct and congregation, and it is the very light, beauty and grace of the holy project.
यज्ञ के प्रथम प्रकाशमान पुरोहित अग्नि को मनुष्य तीन लोकों में स्थापित करते हैं, जो देवों के साथ मिलकर यज्ञ के लिए पवित्र आसन पर विराजमान होते हैं। वे यज्ञ के आरम्भ, आचरण और सभा के लिए प्रकाश, शोभा और कृपा हैं।

अयं वां मित्रावरुणा सुतः सोम ऋतावृधा. ममेदिह श्रुतं हवम्
Mamediha ‹ruta≈ havam. O Mitra and Varuna, dear as breath of life and soothing as morning mist, eminent in dedication to truth and law, the soma of life is distilled and prepared for you. Listen to this call and invitation of mine and come here and now.
हे मित्र और वरुण, सत्य और धर्म के रक्षक, जीवन का सोम रस आपके लिए तैयार है। कृपया मेरे इस आह्वान को सुनें और यहीं पधारें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 911
राजानावनभिद्रुहा ध्रुवे सदस्युत्तमे. सहस्रस्थ्ञुण आशाते
Sahasrasthμuƒa å‹åte. Indra and Vayu, power and progress, Mitra and Varuna, love and justice in freedom of choice, all embracing and hating none, abide in the house of inviolable peace and stability firmly resting on a thousand pillars.
हे राजन्, जो अभेद्य और स्थिर हैं, वे उत्तम स्थान में निवास करते हैं। वे सभी को धारण करते हैं और किसी से द्वेष नहीं करते।

ता सम्राजा घृतासुती आदित्या दानुनस्पती. सचेते अनवह्वरम्
Sacete anavahvaram. The brilliant Adityas, inviolable ruling lords of light and peace, the sun and moon of the world, who distil the very essence of life like ghrta and aqua pura, protect and promote the generous charitable people who follow the simple, straight and natural paths of life free from crookedness.
हे प्रकाशमान आदित्यगण, जो अविनाशी शासक हैं, आप जीवन के सार को घृत और जल की भांति निकालते हैं, उन उदार दानदाताओं की रक्षा करें और उन्हें उन्नत करें जो जीवन के सरल, सीधे और प्राकृतिक मार्ग का अनुसरण करते हैं।

इन्द्रो दधीचो अस्थभिर् वृत्राण्यप्रतिष्कुतः. जघान नवतीर्नव
Jaghåna navat∂rnava. Indra, lord of light and space, unchallenged and unchallengeable, wields the thunderbolt and, with weapons of winds, light and thunder, breaks the clouds of ninety-nine orders of water and electricity for the sake of humanity and the earth.
हे इन्द्र देव! आप अपने वज्र और वायु, प्रकाश तथा गर्जना के शस्त्रों से, निन्यानवे प्रकार के जल और विद्युत् के मेघों को, मानवजाति और पृथ्वी के कल्याण हेतु, निर्विवाद रूप से नष्ट करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 914
इच्छन्नश्वस्य यच्छिरः पर्वतेष्वपश्रितम्. तद्विदच्छर्यणावति
TadvidaccharyaČvati. Just as the sun reaches and breaks the densest concentrations of vapours in the clouds fast moving in the regions of the sky, so should the ruler know the best of the enemy forces lurking around and in the forests if he desires victory.
जैसे सूर्य आकाश में तीव्र गति से चलने वाले मेघों के सघन जल-कणों को भेदता है, उसी प्रकार विजय चाहने वाले शासक को भी शत्रु की गुप्त और वन में छिपी हुई सेना को जानना चाहिए।
Chapter 5 · Verse 915
अत्राह गोरमन्वत नाम त्वष्ंउरपीच्यम्. इत्था चन्द्रमसो गृहे
Itthå candramaso gæhe. Just as here on the surface of the earth and in its environment, we know, there is the beautiful light of the sun penetrating and reaching everywhere, similarly, let all know, it is there on the surface of the moon. (Just as the sun holds and illuminates the earth and the moon, so should the ruler with his light of justice and power hold and brighten every home in the land.)
जैसे सूर्य का प्रकाश पृथ्वी और उसके वातावरण में सर्वत्र व्याप्त है, उसी प्रकार चंद्रमा की सतह पर भी उस प्रकाश को सब जानें। यह प्रकाश सभी घरों को प्रकाशित करे, जैसे शासक न्याय और शक्ति से प्रजा का कल्याण करता है।

इयं वामस्य मन्मन इन्द्राग्नी प्ञुर्व्यस्तुतिः. अभ्राद् वृष्ंइरिवाजनि
Abhråd v涢irivåjani. Indra and Agni, lords of action and enlightenment, this principal and ancient song of adoration for you from the celebrant flows spontaneously like rain from the cloud.
हे इन्द्र और अग्नि, क्रिया और ज्ञान के स्वामी, यह आपका प्रमुख और प्राचीन स्तुति गान, भक्त की ओर से, मेघ से वर्षा की भांति स्वाभाविक रूप से प्रवाहित होता है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 917
›ऋणुतं जरितुर्हवम् इन्द्राग्नी वनतम् गिरः. ∫शाना पिप्यतं धियः
Indragni, lords of action and enlightenment, listen to the celebrant's song of adoration, accept and appreciate the words, O sovereign lords, and refine and energise his thought and imagination to flow into expression and action.
हे इन्द्र-अग्नि, हे कर्म और ज्ञान के स्वामी, भक्त की स्तुति के गीतों को सुनें, वाणी को स्वीकार करें और उसे परिष्कृत कर क्रियान्वित करने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 918
मा पापत्वाय नो नरेन्द्राग्नी माभिशस्तये. मा नो रीरधतं निदे
Må no r∂radhata≈ nide. Indragni, leaders of humanity, pioneers of progress and enlightenment, deliver us not to the sinner, not to the tyrant, not to the reviler. Let us be free.
हे इंद्र और अग्नि, हे मनुष्यों के नेता और प्रगति के अग्रदूत, हमें पापी, अत्याचारी या निंदक के हाथों में न सौंपें। हमें उनसे मुक्त करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 919
पवस्व दक्षसाधनो देवेभ्यः पीतये हरे. मरुद्भ्यो वायवे मदः
Marudbhyo våyave mada¨. O Soma, lord of joy and versatile intelligence of the universe, pure, fluent and all-purifying eliminator of want and suffering, giver of sufficiency, flow, purify and sanctify the powers of noble and generous nature to their full satisfaction, come as ecstasy of life for vibrant humanity, for pranic energy and for the will and intelligence of the seekers of light and dynamism for action.
हे सोम, हे देवों के स्वामी, हे सामर्थ्य के दाता, हे आनंद के स्रोत, तुम पवित्र होकर, सभी को शुद्ध करते हुए, हमारी बुद्धि और प्राण शक्ति को तृप्त करो। हे जीवन के उल्लास, तुम हमारे भीतर प्रवाहित हो, हमें शक्ति और ज्ञान से परिपूर्ण करो।

सं देवैः शोभते वृषा कविर्योनावधि प्रियः. पवमानो अदाभ्यः
Soma, omniscient poetic creator, generous and dear, dearest of divinities and destroyer of the evil and darkness of life, vibrating in the cave of the heart shines glorious in the soul and reflects beatific with the senses, mind, intelligence and will in the conduct and grace of the human personality in total freedom from suppression and inhibitions.
हे सोम देव, सर्वज्ञ कवि के समान, आप प्रिय और उदार हैं, जो हृदय की गुफा में स्पंदित होकर आत्मा में प्रकाशमान होते हैं और इंद्रियों, मन, बुद्धि तथा इच्छाशक्ति के साथ मिलकर जीवन के अंधकार को नष्ट करते हैं। आप ही परम आनंदमय हैं और सभी बंधनों से मुक्त होकर मानव व्यक्तित्व को प्रकाशित करते हैं।

पवमान धिया हितोइ᳓भि योनिं कनिक्रदत्. धर्मणा वायुमारुहः
Dharmaƒå våyumåruha¨. O lord of purity and power, let your presence concentrated by senses and mind in awareness, speaking aloud in the heart and soul, abide in the pranic and intelligential vitality of the soul with living consciousness of divine law and virtues of holy life and thus purify and sanctify us.
हे पवित्रता और शक्ति के स्वामी, अपनी चेतना में इन्द्रियों और मन द्वारा केंद्रित आपकी उपस्थिति, हृदय और आत्मा में मुखर होकर, दिव्य विधान और पवित्र जीवन के सद्गुणों की सचेत चेतना के साथ आत्मा की प्राणिक और बौद्धिक जीवन शक्ति में निवास करे।

Rahugana, Bhauma Atri, Vishvamitra Gathina, Tavåha≈ soma råraƒa sakhya indo dive dive. Purμuƒi babhro ni caranti måmava paridh∂~n rati tå~n ihi. O Soma, light of life and universal joy of existence, I rejoice in your friendly company day in and day out. O mighty bearer sustainer of the universe, a host of negativities surround me, pray break through their bounds and come and save me.
हे सोम, जीवन के प्रकाश और अस्तित्व के सार्वभौमिक आनंद, मैं दिन-प्रतिदिन तुम्हारी मित्रवत संगति में आनंदित होता हूँ। हे ब्रह्मांड के शक्तिशाली धारक, अनेक नकारात्मकताएँ मुझे घेरे हुए हैं, कृपया उनकी सीमाओं को तोड़कर आओ और मुझे बचाओ।

तवाहं नक्तमुत सोम ते दिवा दुहानो बभ्र ञुधनि. घृणा तपन्तमति स्ञुर्यं परः शकुना इव पप्तिम
Rahugana, Bhauma Atri, Vishvamitra Gathina, Tavåha≈ naktamuta soma te divå duhåno babhra μudhani. Ghæƒå tapantamati sμurya≈ para¨ ‹akunå iva paptima. And I, O Soma, bearer and sustainer, yearn day and night to abide in your presence for the sake of your love and friendship, and pray that we may rise, flying like birds beyond the sun blazing with its refulgence, and reach you, the Ultimate.

Soma, spirit of universal purity and purification, all watching, faces and overcomes all adversaries of the carnal world. Sages celebrate and glorify the vibrant all prevailing spirit with songs of adoration.
हे सोमदेव, आप सर्वव्यापी, सर्वज्ञ और पवित्रता के स्रोत हैं, जो समस्त भौतिक बाधाओं का नाश करते हैं। ज्ञानीजन भक्तिपूर्ण गीतों से आपकी महिमा का गान करते हैं।

Å योनिमरुणो रुहद्गमदिन्द्रो वृषा सुतम्. ध्रुवे सदसि सीदतु
Dhruve sadasi s∂datu. The glorious light of divinity, self-manifested and self-existent, pervades its natural abode, the world of Prakrti, and the generous spirit pervades the human soul too, and while it seats itself in the unshakable faith of man, the human soul too, purified and sanctified, abides in the eternal presence of divinity.
यह मंत्र उस स्वयंभू, सर्वव्यापी दिव्य प्रकाश का वर्णन करता है जो प्रकृति के लोक में और मानव आत्मा में भी व्याप्त है, और जो मनुष्य के अटल विश्वास में स्थित होकर उसे दिव्यता की शाश्वत उपस्थिति में स्थापित करता है।

Soma, lord of universal glory, blissful omnipresence, bring us great wealth, honour and excellence of the world from all around, let it flow to us in a thousand streams.
हे सोम, हे विश्वव्यापी ऐश्वर्य के स्वामी, हमें चारों दिशाओं से महान धन, सम्मान और उत्कृष्टता प्रदान करें, जो सहस्रों धाराओं के समान हम पर प्रवाहित हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 927
पिबा सोमम् इन्द्र मन्दतु त्वा यं ते सुषाव हर्यश्वाद्रिः. सोतुर्बाहुभ्यां सुयतो नार्वा
Indra, lord ruler and controller of the dynamic forces of the world, drink this soma of ecstasy which, I am sure, would exhilarate you. The cloud, generative power of nature, has distilled it and showered on you. And just as a horse well controlled by the hands and reins of the driver moves to the right destination, so is this soma generated by the hands of the creator meant to exhort you to take the dominion to its destination.
हे इन्द्र देव, इस सोम रस का पान करें जो आपको आनंदित करेगा। यह सोम, प्रकृति की जनन शक्ति द्वारा तैयार किया गया है और आपके लिए समर्पित है, जो आपको अपने लक्ष्य की ओर प्रेरित करेगा।

That beauty and joy of the governance of your dominion which is agreeable, inspiring and worthy of of the dynamic forces of the people, you break the negative forces of darkness, sin and crime, want and ignorance like the sun breaking dark clouds for showers, may that joy, O sovereign lord of power for settlement and prosperity, give you the real pleasure of creative governance and administration.
हे सामर्थ्यवान इन्द्र देव! आपकी शासन-शक्ति की वह रमणीय और आनंदमयी शोभा, जो प्रजा के कल्याण के लिए है, अंधकार और पाप का नाश करती है। हे ऐश्वर्यशाली प्रभु! वह आनंद आपको सृजनात्मक शासन का वास्तविक सुख प्रदान करे।

बोधा सु मे मघवन् वाचमेमां यां ते वसिष्ंहो अर्चति प्रशस्तिम्. इमा ब्रह्म सध- मादे जुषस्व
O lord of honour, power and magnificence, pray know well this voice of mine which the sage well settled at peace offers you in adoration of your glory. And accept, honour and apply these holy words of vision and wisdom in practice in the assembly house of the wise for governance and administration.
हे ऐश्वर्यवान प्रभु, मेरी इस वाणी को भलीभाँति जानें, जिसे ऋषि शांतिपूर्वक आपकी महिमा के गान में अर्पित करता है। इन पवित्र शब्दों को, जो ज्ञान और दूरदर्शिता से परिपूर्ण हैं, विद्वानों की सभा में स्वीकार करें और शासन-प्रशासन में धारण करें।

विश्वः पृतना अभिभ्ञुतरं नरः सज्ञुस्त- तक्षुर्-इन्द्रं जजनुश्च राजसे. क्रत्वे वरे स्थेमन्यामुरीम् उतोग्रम् ओजिष्ंहं तरसं तरस्विनम्
All the citizens together, in order to elect an equal for the purpose of governance, create and shape Indra, the ruler, the leader who is superior to others in all battles of life, highest by noble creative action, eliminator of negative and frustrative opposition, illustrious, most vigorous and emphatic in expression, courageous and passionate in action.
समस्त प्रजाजन मिलकर, शासन के उद्देश्य से अपने तुल्य श्रेष्ठ इंद्र को चुनते हैं, जो जीवन के सभी युद्धों में सर्वोत्कृष्ट, महान् सृजनात्मक कर्मों से सर्वोच्च, नकारात्मक विरोध का निवारक, तेजस्वी, वाणी में अत्यंत बलवान और कर्म में साहसी व उत्साही है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 931
नेमिं नमन्ति चक्षसा मेषं विप्रा अभि- स्वरे. सुदीतयो वो अद्रुहोइ᳓पि कर्णे तरस्विनः समृक्वभिः
Wise and vibrant sages greet the heroic ruler, Indra, giver of showers of peace and joy, and with vision of the future, bow to him as the central power and force of the nation's wheel. O brilliant and inspired people free from jealousy and calumny, smart and bold in action, do him honour with laudable performance for the near.
हे राष्ट्र के तेजस्वी और वीर शासक, जो शांति और आनंद के दाता हैं, भविष्य की दृष्टि से उन्हें राष्ट्रचक्र के केंद्रीय शक्ति और बल के रूप में नमन करते हैं। हे ईर्ष्या और निंदा से मुक्त, कर्म में चतुर और साहसी, हे प्रबुद्ध और प्रेरित जन, निकट भविष्य के लिए प्रशंसनीय कर्मों से उनका सम्मान करें।

समु रेभासो अस्वरन्निन्द्रं सोमस्य पीतये. स्वः पतिर्यदी वृधे धृतव्रतो ह्योजसा सम्ञुतिभिः
Let all intelligent people cordially welcome and felicitate Indra for the protection of the honour, integrity, beauty and culture of the nation of humanity, and when they, together, exhort the guardian of their happiness and welfare to advance the beauty of corporate life, then, committed to the values, laws and ideals of the nation, he feels exalted with lustrous courage and positive measures of defence and protection.
हे राष्ट्र के रक्षक, सभी बुद्धिमान जन आपकी जय-जयकार करें, जो राष्ट्र की गरिमा, अखंडता, सौंदर्य और संस्कृति की रक्षा करते हैं। जब वे मिलकर आपके कल्याण और सुख की कामना करते हैं, तो आप राष्ट्र के मूल्यों और आदर्शों के प्रति समर्पित होकर, तेजस्वी साहस और सुरक्षा के उपायों से परिपूर्ण हो जाते हैं।

यो राजा चर्षणीनां याता रथेभिर् अध्रिगुः. विश्वासां तरुता पृतनानां ज्येष्ंहं यो वृत्र- हा गृणे
I adore Indra, lord supreme, who rules the people, and who is the irresistible and universal mover by waves of cosmic energy, saviour of all humanity, supreme warrior and winner of cosmic battles of the elemental forces and who destroys the evil, darkness and poverty of the world.
हे इन्द्र देव, आप ही सर्वोच्च शासक हैं जो रथों पर सवार होकर प्रजाओं का पालन करते हैं। आप ही समस्त विश्व के रक्षक, शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले और महान योद्धा हैं।

इन्द्रं तं शुम्भ पुरुहन्मन्नवसे यस्य द्विता विधर्त्तरि. हस्तेन वज्रः प्रतिधायि दर्शतो महान् देवो न स्ञुर्यः
O man of universal devotion, exalt and glorify that omnipotent Indra for protection and progress in whom, as ruler and controller of the world, both justice and mercy abide simultaneously, who holds the thunderbolt of power in hand, and who is great and glorious like the sun in heaven.
हे सर्वव्यापी भक्त, उस सर्वशक्तिमान इंद्र की स्तुति करो जो रक्षा और प्रगति के लिए हैं, जिनके शासन और नियंत्रण में न्याय और दया दोनों एक साथ निवास करते हैं, जो अपने हाथ में शक्ति का वज्र धारण करते हैं, और जो स्वर्ग में सूर्य के समान महान और तेजस्वी हैं।

परि प्रिया दिवः कविर्वयाँन्सि नप्त्योर्हितः. स्वानैर्याति क्रविक्रतुः
Svånairyåti kravikratu¨. Soma, cosmic soul, darling of the heavens and loved of enlightened people, poetic creator, immanent in his own creations, pervading all regions of the universe, moves around omnipresent, inspiring, creating and doing all those acts which are exclusively worthy of the omniscient and omnipotent creator.

Mahånmah∂ ætåvædhå. He, creator of the universe, pure and great, self- manifested, illuminates the great and glorious heaven and earth, mothers of the created world which observe and exalt the eternal laws of existence.
वह महान, शुद्ध और स्वयं प्रकट होने वाले सृष्टिकर्ता, जो सभी का पालनहार है, इस विशाल और तेजस्वी ब्रह्मांड को प्रकाशित करते हैं, जो नित्य नियमों का पालन करते हुए सभी को धारण करता है।

प्र प्र क्षयाय पन्यसे जनाय जुष्ंओ अद्रुहः. वीत्यऋस पनिष्ंअये
V∂tyaæsa pani¶¢aye. O Soma, loved and cherished of all, ever move with love and favours of grace to every home and every region of the world for the celebrant and all men free from jealousy and enmity, and bless them all with joy and life's fulfilment.
हे सोमदेव! आप सभी के प्रिय और पूजनीय हैं, समस्त प्राणियों के प्रति प्रेम और कृपा के साथ सदा विचरण करें, ईर्ष्या और शत्रुता से रहित सभी मनुष्यों को आनंद और जीवन की परिपूर्णता से धन्य करें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 938
त्वं ह्याýΔग दैव्य पवमान जनिमानि द्युमत्तमः. अमृतत्वाय घोषयन्
O Soma, dear as life, pure and purifying, most refulgent enlightened spirit, only you can call up born humanity to holy life and proclaim the path to immortality.
हे प्रिय सोम, तुम ही दिव्य, पवित्र और प्रकाशमान आत्मा हो, जो जन्म लेने वाले मनुष्यों को अमरता के मार्ग पर चलने के लिए प्रेरित करते हो। तुम ही हमें पवित्र जीवन की ओर ले जाते हो और अमरत्व का संदेश सुनाते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 939
येना नवग्वा दध्यΔΔअपोर्णुते येन विप्रास आपिरे. देवानां सुम्ने अमृतस्य चारुणो येन श्रवाँन्स्याशत
‹ravå~nsyå‹ata. Soma is that spirit of enlightenment by which the meditative sages on way to divinity open up the path to immortality, by which the saints attain to the peace and well being worthy of divinities, and by which the lovers of immortality obtain their desired ambition and fulfilment.
जिस दिव्य सोम रस से ज्ञानीजन अमरत्व का मार्ग प्रशस्त करते हैं, उसी से संतजन देवतुल्य शांति और कल्याण प्राप्त करते हैं, और उसी से अमरत्व के आकांक्षी अपनी अभीष्ट सिद्धि पाते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 940
सोमः पुनान ञुर्मिणाव्यं वारं वि धावति. अग्रे वाचः पवमानः कनिक्रदत्
Agre våca¨ pavamåna¨ kanikradat. Soma, pure and purifying, protective and blissful, flowing by streams and sanctifying, roaring with ancient and original hymns of divine adoration, rushes to the heart core of the distinguished soul.
हे सोमदेव! आप पवित्र, शुद्ध करने वाले और आनंदमय हैं, जो धाराओं के समान बहते हुए आत्मा को पवित्र करते हैं और दिव्य स्तुतियों के साथ हृदय में प्रवेश करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 941
धीभिर् मृजन्ति वाजिनं वने क्रीडन्तम- त्यविम्. अभि त्रिपृष्ंहम् मतयः समस्वरन्
Men of distinguished mind, adoring Soma with holy thoughts, words and action, invoke and celebrate all protective Soma, victorious spirit and cosmic energy, playing in the beautiful world over three regions of heaven, earth and the skies.
हे सोम! पवित्र विचारों, वाणी और कर्मों से आपकी आराधना करते हुए, हम तीन लोकों में क्रीड़ा करते हुए, विजयी और सर्वव्यापी आपकी स्तुति करते हैं। हमारी बुद्धि और वाणी आपकी महिमा का गान करती है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 942
असर्जि कलशाँन् अभि मीढ्वान्त्सप्तिर्न वाजयुः. पुनानो वाचं जनयन्नसिष्यदत्
Punåno våca≈ janayannasi¶yadat. Soma, vibrant spirit of divinity, rushes to the heart core of realised souls like instant energy radiating to the centre of its target in the human battle of survival and distinguished search for immortality, there stimulating, creating and sanctifying hymns of adoration, and there in the soul it abides.
हे सोम, दिव्य चेतना के जीवंत स्वरूप, तुम सिद्ध आत्माओं के हृदय में तत्काल ऊर्जा की भांति प्रवेश करते हो, जो अमरता की खोज में जीवन के संघर्ष में अपने लक्ष्य के केंद्र को प्रकाशित करती है। वहाँ तुम भक्ति के स्तोत्रों को उत्तेजित, उत्पन्न और पवित्र करते हो, और आत्मा में निवास करते हो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 943
सोमः पवते जनिता मतीनां जनिता दिवो जनिता पृथिव्याः. जनिताग्नेर्जनिता स्ञुर्यस्य जनितेन्- द्रस्य जनितोत विष्णोः
Soma, spirit of divine peace, power and generous creativity, flows and purifies universally. It is generator of heavens, maker of the earth and creator of the nobilities of sagely wisdom, generator of fire, maker of the stars, manifester of its own omnipotence, and manifester of the omnipresence of its own self in expansive space.
हे सोम, तुम समस्त ज्ञान के जनक, स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के रचयिता हो। तुम अग्नि, सूर्य, इंद्र और विष्णु के भी जनक हो, जो अपनी सर्वव्यापी शक्ति को प्रकट करते हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 944
ब्रह्मा देवानां पदवीः कवीनाम् ऋषिर्- विप्राणां महिषो मृगाणाम्. ›येनो गृध्राणां स्वधितिर्वनानां सोमः पवित्रमत्येति रेभन्
Soma is Brahma, supreme over divinities, highest of the poets, divine seer among the wise, lion among the strongest animals, eagle among the birds of power, sword among the killers and, roaring and thundering, it goes forward, excels all others, and blesses the pure heart core of the soul.
सोम ही देवताओं में ब्रह्म है, कवियों में श्रेष्ठ, ऋषियों में दिव्य द्रष्टा, पशुओं में सिंह, शक्तिशाली पक्षियों में गरुड़, और वध करने वालों में तलवार के समान है। वह गर्जना करता हुआ, गरजता हुआ आगे बढ़ता है, सबको पार करता है और पवित्र हृदय वाले आत्मा को आनंदित करता है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 945
प्रावीविपद्वाच ञुर्मिं न सिन्धुर्गिर स्तोमान् पवमानो मनीषाः. अन्तः पश्यन् वृजनेमा- वराण्या तिष्ंहति वृषभो गोषु जानन्
Soma stirs and inspires the flow of thought into speech as the sea stirs and rolls the waves of the flood. Pure and purifying, it inspires imagination, poetry and adoration. Pervading all within and watching, it abides in the closest intimacies of all yajna within and without and, potent as it is, knowing every thing, it energises all organs of thought and sense.
हे सोमदेव! जिस प्रकार समुद्र की लहरें उठती हैं, उसी प्रकार आप वाणी और स्तुतियों को प्रेरित करते हैं, जो मन को पवित्र और आनंदित करती हैं। आप सब कुछ जानते हुए, यज्ञ के भीतर और बाहर सब जगह व्याप्त होकर, इन्द्रियों और बुद्धि को शक्ति प्रदान करते हैं।

अग्निं वो वृधन्तम् अध्वराणां पुर्ञुतमम्. अच्छा नप्त्रे सहस्वते
Agni≈ vo vædhantam adhvaråƒå≈ purμutamam. Acchå naptre sahasvate. Well with joint action and yajna, serve Agni, most ancient power of the first order that leads you to the advancement of strong familial unity and tolerant but powerful social cooperation for your coming generations for ages.
हे गृहपति, बृहस्पति के समान बुद्धिमान और युवा शक्ति से युक्त होकर, यज्ञ के माध्यम से अग्नि की स्तुति करो, जो समस्त ऐश्वर्यों का मूल है। वह अग्नि, जो प्राचीनतम और सबसे श्रेष्ठ है, आपको पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी मजबूत पारिवारिक एकता और सहिष्णु, शक्तिशाली सामाजिक सहयोग की ओर अग्रसर करती है।
Chapter 5 · Verse 947
अयं यथा न आभुवत् त्वष्ंआ र्ञुपेव तक्ष्या. अस्य क्रत्वा यशस्वतः
Aya≈ yathå na åbhuvat tva¶¢å rμupeva tak¶yå. Asya kratvå ya‹asvata¨. Just as the artist creates all possible forms out of his plastic materials, giving them beauty, power and purposeful meaning, so does this Agni, universal artist, work on us, for us, and brings out our potentials and gives us forms of beauty, power and excellence as a family, community and common humanity for a purpose, a meaning and a direction. His actions are great, gracious and glorious.
हे बृहस्पति के समान गृहपति, हे युवा, हे सहस्र पुत्रों वाले! जैसे शिल्पी अपनी कला से सभी रूपों को सुंदर, शक्तिशाली और अर्थपूर्ण बनाता है, वैसे ही आप भी हमारे भीतर सामर्थ्य और उत्कृष्टता के रूप प्रकट करते हैं, जिससे हमारा परिवार, समाज और संपूर्ण मानवता उद्देश्यपूर्ण और दिशावान बनती है। आपके कर्म महान, कृपालु और यशस्वी हैं।

अय विश्वा अभि श्रियोइ᳓ग्निर्देवेषु पत्यते. Å वाजैरुप नो गमत्
Aya vi‹vå abhi ‹riyoígnirdeve¶u patyate. Å våjairupa no gamat. This Agni among all the divinities of nature and humanity creates, sustains and rules over all the beauties, graces and grandeurs of life. May the lord come to us and bless us with all kinds of knowledge, power, wealth and honour.
हे बृहस्पति के समान गृहपति, हे युवा, हे सहस्र पुत्रों वाले! आप सभी देवों में श्रेष्ठ अग्नि हैं, जो जीवन की समस्त शोभा, ऐश्वर्य और महानता को उत्पन्न करते, धारण करते और नियंत्रित करते हैं। हे प्रभु, आप समस्त ज्ञान, शक्ति, धन और सम्मान के साथ हमारे पास पधारें।

इमम् इन्द्र सुतं पिब ज्येष्ंहम् अमर्त्यं मदम्. ›उक्रस्य त्वाभ्यक्षरन् धारा ऋतस्य सादने
Indra, lord of light and universal rule, drink of the ecstasy of joy distilled, highest and immortal. The streams of pure and brilliant power and glory flow towards you in the house of Truth and Law.
हे इन्द्र, हे अमर देव, इस सोम रस का पान करो, जो परम आनंद का स्रोत है। सत्य और धर्म के निवास में, तुम्हारी शक्ति और महिमा की धाराएँ प्रवाहित हो रही हैं।
Chapter 5 · Verse 950
न किष्ंवद् रथीतरो हरी यदिन्द्र यच्छसे. न किष्ंवानु मज्मना न किः स्वश्व आनशे
Na ki¶¢vånu majmanå na ki¨ sva‹va åna‹e. Indra, while you yoke and drive the horses, powers of the chariot of your dominion, none could be a better master of the chariot. None could equal you in power, courage and force. None as master of horse and chariot could claim even to approach you in power, efficiency and glory.
हे इन्द्र देव, जब आप अपने रथ के अश्वों को जोतते और चलाते हैं, तब आपके सामर्थ्य के रथ का कोई भी स्वामी आपसे श्रेष्ठ नहीं हो सकता। आपकी शक्ति, पराक्रम और ऐश्वर्य के समक्ष कोई भी ठहर नहीं सकता।
Chapter 5 · Verse 951
इन्द्राय न्ञुनम् अर्चतोक्थानि च बृअवीतन. सुता अमत्सुरिन्दवो ज्येष्ंहं नमस्यता सहः
All ye children of the earth, in truth and sincerity, do reverence and homage to Indra, ruling lord of light and life. Speak words of thanks and praise in appreciation of his dominion. Let the drops of distilled soma give him delight and ecstasy. Bow to him, lord supreme of courage and power.
हे पृथ्वीपुत्रों, सत्य और भक्ति से इन्द्र की स्तुति करो, वे प्रकाश और जीवन के शासक हैं। उनकी शक्ति और सामर्थ्य के प्रति नमन करो।
Chapter 5 · Verse 952
इन्द्र जुषस्व प्र वहा याहि श्ञुर हरिह. पिबा सुतस्य मतिर् न मधोश्चकानश् चारुर्म- दाय
Indra, omnipotent lord of cosmic dynamics, come, join our yajna congregation, drink of honey sweets of homage and soma distilled for divine ecstasy and, intent on fulfillment as you get from soma, march on (over the negativities, jealousies and enmities).
हे इन्द्र देव, आप हमारे यज्ञ में पधारें और सोम रस का पान करें। अपनी शक्ति से समस्त नकारात्मकताओं का नाश करते हुए, आनंदित होकर आगे बढ़ें।
Chapter 5 · Verse 953
इन्द्र जंहरं नव्यं न पृणस्व मधोर्दिवो न. अस्य सुतस्य स्वार्नोप त्वा मदाः सुवाचो अस्थुः
Indra, divine ruler of the world, drink of the adorable honey sweets of soma like heavenly nectar to your heart's content, and may the admirable ecstasy of this soma stay with you like the eternal bliss of heavenly freedom of Moksha.
हे इन्द्र देव, इस सोम रस के मधुर, दिव्य अमृत का अपने हृदय तक पान करें, और इस सोम के अद्भुत उल्लास की तरह, मोक्ष की दिव्य स्वतंत्रता का शाश्वत आनंद आपके साथ बना रहे।

इन्द्रस्तुराषाण्मित्रो न जघान वृत्रम् यतिर्न. बिभेद वलं भृगुर्न ससाहे शत्र्ञुन् मदे सोमस्य
Bibheda vala≈ bhægurna sasåhe ‹atrμun made somasya.
